Ok, where to start? First off they, sent 2 passenger side panels. Called them to correct it and they just sent an empty box for return instead of the panel they said they was going to ship. Half the holes were filled with powder coat, had to clean them out, you will need a tap. A lot of the screws would round the head because of this. This thing has the worst wind noise I have ever had with any unit. Expect to get a different base trim, the rubber has no way to hold and wanted to come off. Also, it really came shipped looking used, chipped, scuffed, and scratched. Packaging did look like factory package tho. I asked on face book about this sir and someone replied “friend don’t let friends order rough country” I should have listened. Unit has been sent back and waiting on refund. ... show more

Product looked great until found some scratched on the paint and all bolt threads were bad.

Bought this roof rack through Amazon, but it was sent directly from Rough Country. Went to put together the roof rack, and was missing 12 6mm bolts out of the 28 that was supposed to be included. Had to go to Lowes to get bolts, then to Harbor Freight to get a RivNut tool because you're supposed to shit one out apparently, which could have been installed previously, but given the fact that who ever fabbed it couldn't do it correctly, it's probably a good thing they didn't. The center support nuts were welded a 1/16th of an inch off set causing the bolts to not line up correctly. I had to ball file the metal out of the way in order to get the holes to line up since I don't keep a welder at my house, or else I would have cut the nuts off. Some of the nut threads were completely covered in powder coat, and the others were completely jacked up (before I even touched it with a ball file). I had to clean out the threads on every nut, and re-tap 2 nuts. Finally got it assembled, and it didn't line up with the cab mounts. had to finagle it around in order to fully mount it. The light bar brackets are 42" apart from each other, so the 40" light bar that was ordered wouldn't fit because it was too short. So had to order a 42". Does it look good on the truck? yes. Did it take almost 8 hours to complete the process because their crew sucks at making things? also yes. If we knew it would have taken so long, and caused so much BS, we would have fabbed one ourselves and not given them our business, or purchased one else ware. ... show more
