This kit was super easy to install. It took me about an hour to remove the existing air box and install the new cold air intake. It looks really clean under the hood of my truck and sounds awesome! When I step on the gas pedal, there is a super loud and deep hum from under the hood. I have only had it on my 2022 Tacoma for about 2 months now, and have increased my average fuel mileage by just short of 2 MPG. I like this for the money. For the most part it was easy to install however the heat shield holes aren’t even close to lining up with the holes in my truck and the smaller rubber pads screws are smaller than the ones in my truck so they did not screw into place. Ironically the larger pad had the correct threaded bolts. All-in-all I like it. Gives the truck a nicer sound - a bit throatier and a noticeable increase in power. Worth the money. ... show more

Get what you pay for here.. does it fit yes does it do it’s job yes.. could tell a difference in throttle response and fuel mileage has went up a little.. but having to modify parts that should already fit not what I wanna do.. had to cut 1/2” off the boot that goes from throttle body to tube.. that was just be able to fit everything where it belongs.. would I buy again 50/50. ... show more

Do not buy this product. Absolute garbage quality. Nothing lines up or fits, some parts had to be drilled and after install was complete it just looks and feels cheap, which it is. I will be removing the entire thing and returning ut asap. Also, the “growl” it claims to give the engine, sounds horrible. Which I could give it zero stars. ... show more

    • Nope.
It works as advertised.. BUT… it is so loud that you cannot have a conversation while driving. Deep pitched hum resonates as long as you are on the gas pedal. I removed it and reinstalled the factory air box and dropped in a flat K&N filter.
