Easy install. 15-20 minutes. Looks good, fits well. I have a ‘17 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited 6 speed, and around 2500rpm you can definitely tell audibly. My wife even agrees, it’s her daily driver. MPG’s seem to be about the same(17-17.8). It has a 4” lift and 35” tires on 17” rims. It’s not as pretty as a K&N, but it’s not the same price either.     • Keeps intake air temp cooler…
I like this cold air intake. It does what it’s supposed to and it’s easy to install. It keeps intake air temps within 20% of ambient air as measured by the Jeep and using JScan to monitor intake temps. I have noticed more engine noise but it doesn’t bother me. I have not noticed any improvement in gas mileage. Actually worse by 1 mpg. No noticeable difference in power either. But again, it serves it purpose- it s cools the intake air, but doesn’t do anything else. ... show more

I added this and the throttle body spacer at same time so I don’t know which of them made the biggest difference but I’m a big fan. Right around 4k to 5k rpms, my jeep really starts to hum! I used to feel the engine start to bog down a bit in this rpm range but now if I’m merging onto the interstate or whatever it feels like it’s getting a lot more power as the engine revs up. The rest of the time I don’t really hear a huge difference and that’s a good thing because I didn’t want anything super loud. Mileage seemed way worse when I first made the change but I think that was because I changed my driving habits. I have a manual transmission so I can leave it in a gear as long as I want (and I did!). Once I went back to normal driving I think mileage was about the same or maybe a tiny bit better. ... show more

This is the best air intake kit that I ever installed. Over a 55 year of working on automobiles I probably installed over 200 air intakes so I know quality and price and insulation. A lot of other companies like K&N you're paying for their name and that little sticker, they give you so you can advertise for them. You guys are paying them more for the same product that you can get for less and you are advertising for free for K&N. That's why you really don't see them paying for advertising ad's because you guys, Are giving them free advertisement by installing the stickers. Rough Country Cold Air Intake Kits are the top of the line kits. Rough Country products are excellent that you can count on high quality products at a fantastic price. I can honestly say I never had any problems with any of their products. Im not getting paid for promoting their products I don't represent Rough Country. I just believe in giving a Real honest review of a good product and a good company no fake testimony, fake interviews, fake pictures, just real facts from a real hands-on for over 55 years old school mechanic. ... show more

It Looks amazing, I loved how it freed up space in my engine compartment, I also loved the way it sounded. I even liked the way it drove. But it killed my mpg. I’m running 37’s and regeared to 4.11 , I went from 18 to 12 mpg , and that was enough for me to switch back. The pipes too small, I thought about retrofitting it but it’s not that serious but I really liked it that’s why the 5 stars. ... show more

Didn't expect it to be so much louder and throatier. Installed it before a road trip and on the first straight away I stayed in 2nd gear a little longer and my wife gave me the biggest smirk and eye roll. Sounds great though. Noticable difference in performance over stock airbox. I also used the throttle body spacer. Great upgrade for a fraction of the price of some other companies. Highly recommend.
