Easy do it yourself install and well worth the $, I own a 2011 jeep wrangler Sahara with a lift and 35s,hoping it helps with gas mileage, the clamps are a little to big so you will need to buy 2 - inch and a half to 3 and a half clamps for the throttle body hose, other than that well worth it.

I'm really pleased with the quality of the Rough Country cold air intake. The installation was relatively simple, and the instructions were good, although the pictures could have been a little brighter. I highly recommend buying a throttle body spacer though, I'm not sure the fit would have been as good without the spacer. I have noticed a reduction in throttle lag in the higher gears (I have a manual transmission). It definitely sounds better, I'm sure that I will notice an increase in mileage, I installed a cold air intake on my Toyota 4runner and noticed a two to three mile per gallon increase and mileage. Works well, but installing is a chore. Doesn’t seem to fit as well as higher end intakes. Lots of tweaking and fine tuning needed for the best fit possible. Definitely improved the throttle response on our 2011 Wrangler 3.8L. For the price, tough to beat.

    • Not worth the price tag
So for this being rough country I expected better. This is the exact same as a china air intake, the clamps are not the right size at all. The rubber coupling that connects to the intake manifold is on the thin side. The hole for the mass airflow sensor is alittle big for the rubber seal that is used so its got slop and wiggles and spins around. I wouldn't waste the money on this kit get a cheaper on or spend more on a better kit. ... show more

    • Disappointed
To many different tools required for assembly. Tiny screws,nuts and washers. You need to have tiny hands for that part. Plates were bent one of the clamps did not tighten. The decal for the tube didn’t stick. Instructions are terrible. Very disappointed with this product.
