Installed on my 2013 Silverado with the 4.8 liter v8 and it fit perfectly. Engine feels a little snappier and it sounds cool. It also looks way cooler than the stock intake system. Installing it is not hard as long as you have an 8mm socket for the clamps. Definitely a good buy.

Some of the parts could be metal instead of plastic, and not super great finish on the tube, but all went on easily. Fine for the low price . I had a superchips performance tune on for a few years. It is very noticeable with both things. Took off on wet pavement and wheels spin at half throttle! Bad reviews may be with stock tune? Runs like a beast with both mods. ... show more

Improves throttle response. Impressed RC sent a metal tube. Cons: the shroud is like putting a screen door on a submarine. I put the proper heat reflective tap on the shroud and covered the gaping holes to avoid minimal engine bay heat into the intake. Came with no hose protection. If you want a quick kit. It’ll be perfect but just note rough country is bottom of the barrel for anything of quality (shocks/lifts included) ... show more
