No power or torque gains on the dyno but runs alot cooler and if your doing alot of slow speed trail riding in the middle of summer the Rouch County intake is worth every penny!

    • Good parts / pieces. Nothing fits the vehicle, doesn't even fit each other, to make a tight fit.
It doesn't fit. None of the parts in this intake kit fit each other, or even the throttle body. A one hour install took me three, just to go over all ways to make it work. It just doesn't fit AT ALL. I'm a retired mechanic and fabricator. I could have made this fit, but everything in c/a kit is just too far off. Will never use Rough Country products again. ... show more

Plenty listed issues/troubles in other reviews. I had to address nearly all of these myself, so i will list how i fixed things and have pictures to show as well. 1. Rubber coupler hard to slide on - Yes! However, simple solution is to run it under hot water for about 30 seconds till it gets pliable and it will slide right on. 2. Intake/throttle body angles are extreme - Yes! Solution: line up coupler on Throttle Body and mark the angle- i used a sharpie, then use a razor knife to cut an angle into the coupler and remove unneeded material to fit the angle better. Do this once its on the pipe. 3. The supplied hose clamps will not tighten down enough for the connection at the throttle body - simple fix with an aftermarket hose clamp. Besides those small issues....this install took me less than 30 minutes- i already had old air box and battery out. Hope this review helps future buyers. ... show more

These are easy to install and look like they're specific to the vehicle. Have one (different model) on my Gladiator and bought one to give a little angry to a classic TJ in the driveway. I didn't install on the TJ ultimately but for good reason. The most you'll notice it is on rev under load, like when you speed up to pass someone For that reason, and that reason only, I thought the TJ may be a bad idea. My youngest just started driving, the TJ is her go to vehicle and I didn't want her to have a reason to jump on the throttle. If you're an adult and just want that angry rumble off the line, go for it. You won't go wrong with this one. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Will need modifications to work. If you are not experienced in modifying products or problem solving this isn’t for you. I have a throttle body spacer so the rubber sleeve had to be cut to change the angle(not manufactures fault). The clamps provided for the rubber sleeve only work on the intake tube. The clamps provided will bottom out on the throttle body and not tighten enough. Also the clamps provided to hold the tube in place near the heat shield will bottom out before it is completely secure. I reused the factory clamp for the throttle body and used the provided sleeves clamp for the tube near the intake filter. It took some work but it is very secure now. Not sure what other people had problems with. Mine worked perfectly and fit on the throttle body perfectly. You will need different band clamps but other than that it’s awesome.
