I work from home and spend hours on my computer each day. At regular desk height, staring at my laptop screen ends up hurting my neck pretty bad. I considered a standing desk but that takes up too much space, I thought about a simple screen riser stand but it would only life the screen a few inches and they were all ugly. This was the perfect solution. I hesitated as the price was so affordable, but honestly, I couldn't be more pleased. The item is super sturdy, and can be adjusted up and down easily. You can also lift it much higher than most of the other items I compared it to. What I love is that it take up no additional desk space- in fact it helps create desk space. In addition, I love that it works no matter where I decide to set up my laptop. If on my desk, I can set it to one height and it works well. But because it's easy to move and adjust the settings, I have also brought it out to my kitchen counter, placed it a max height, and been able to stand and work or use it while cooking to read recipes. I wasn't expecting to be impressed, but I am so glad I got this stand and didn't spend hundreds of dollars on a standing desk solution or ugly screen riser! It literally moves in every direction and angle too, which is super convenient. No regret purchase.

Saw a review on YouTube from a fellow DJ using this stand and had nothing but great things to say about it. Got mine today and it does not disappoint. Super sturdy aluminum construction throughout. Push buttons that adjust the angles of the two plates are sturdy as well. Has rubber pads that help keep your computer from moving around. Plenty of height adjustment to get over DJ road cases. Tuck it under a DJ road case and be assured it won’t go flying backward. I’ve used many different laptop stands for DJing over the years. This is by far the best value, look, and construction of anything I’ve ever used in the past. Highly recommend this. 5 Stars.

It's great on a table or desk. I tried using it on my standing desk, and if the standing desk moves even a little bit, this sways too much. Not only was it difficult to use the mouse, I was worried it would fall off. It's great on the regular desk though, so just know what you want it for.

I got this for my 2019 Lenovo flex. I use this stand with the keyboard down and the monitor closest to me (keyboard is in the backwards direction). I would be surprised if the more expensive ones were better than this in any respect. 1. Looks and feels well made, I expect I'll be able to use this as long as laptops and/or I'm around 2. Sturdy -----if you balance it (intended use), or it has screw holes in the base, or you could put a weight on the bottom, if you wanted a weird unbalanced setup temporarily 3. Better than expected (which is a rarity) Perfect for my use case and many more.

If you would like the functionality of a standing desk, but can't afford the real thing, then I would encourage you to purchase this stand! Obviously, it will only raise one item such as a laptop, tablet, or book, but it does raise high enough to comfortably use standing up when placed on a desk of average height. The build quality is excellent, especially for the price, and it is simple to use. I knocked one star off for stability only because on some settings I have to place a book on the bottom of the stand to hold my laptop steady, but that is only at the extremes of what the stand is capable of.

I bought this to use when traveling in our Airstream. I don't have a standing desk so this allows me to adjust it and stand if needed. But the best use I got out of it was using it to hold my laptop to work while we were driving! It saved my neck and back and it has vents in it so the laptop didn't get super hot like it does on my lap. I just sat on the base and it was actually very stable! I wouldn't do that 8 hours a day, but it allowed me to get some work done without us having to stop and wasn't really uncomfortable. It took me a minute to figure out how to adjust the settings on it but once I did, it's been great. Easy to pack up and store and very lightweight but stable. Definitely recommend this stand!
