Get rid of wrinkles fast

So let me start by saying … This is meant to be a small, portable, handheld steamer. From someone who has multiple steamers with a large one specifically for clothing/fabrics and another specifically for cleaning different types of items around your house or for your car etc. this handheld is not comparable to either of those. Now, if you are comparing this to another small, portable handheld steamer, then that would be what you would want to compare the quality and efficiency of this product with. I however, do not have another small, handheld, portable steamer, so I cannot compare the two, but what I can do in my review is describe my thoughts on how I feel it works in comparison to what I would use my more professional, expensive clothing/fabric steamer. My expectations of this product: • it should be able to work with my typical clothing • it should, at a bare minimum, work great for lightweight fabrics • it should get hot enough and produce enough steam • it should stay on until the water reserve is empty I read this product, a four star product because it did meet all of my expectations above. I took a star off because my water tank doesn’t completely stay flush with the product when I put it back in. Almost like it’s going to fall out. What I ended up doing was testing it on two different types of material. I tested it on a lightweight napkin that I use at my dinner table. I also tested it on a heavy weight placemat that I had just washed and put in the dryer and had lots of wrinkles. The result of using this on the light weight napkin was perfect. It ended up getting out all the wrinkles as expected. I had to do multiple passes on the heavyweight placemat, which was assumed to be thick woven cotton. Now this got out most of the wrinkles, but not entirely. So what I ended up finding is it still left some little bit of ripples in the fabric and I had to flip it over and do more passes on the other side. However, once I was done with doing the multiple passes and I was patient, it did end up taking the wrinkles out. So keep this in mind when you are traveling if your expectations are that this handheld is going to steam out those wrinkles like a professional steamer it’s not. However, it does do it’s job and what it does say that it’s supposed to do. So please levels at your expectations when you are purchasing a product like this because you’ll be disappointed if your expectations are any higher than what I’ve described in this post. Hopefully this helps others. However, at this time I really do like this product and I like that you just plug it in there’s no batteries required.

Long gone are the days of me running my hotel room’s shower to generate enough steam to make it worthwhile to get the wrinkles out of a shirt if I don’t have access to an iron. This is very easy to use and doesn’t take up much space in your luggage.

Excellent steamer works very well. It has a small reservoir for the water but it works very well I was able to steam three dresses and a pant suit. The only downfall to this is that it’s not a chargeable item so you have to have it plugged in.

I regularly travel for business on very long international flights and no matter how carefully I pack, some of my clothes are inevitably wrinkled when I take them out of my luggage. Sometimes you can cover up a wrinkled shirt with a suit, but sometimes even the suit gets wrinkled. I've had one of these clothes steamers in the past and they are not always reliable. Still, they are a life saver when they don't have an iron in the hotel or there is no ironing board available. There have been times when I have taken to hanging clothes in a steamy bathroom overnight, but I don't always have that much time. This steamer is easy to use and much more effective than units I have used in the past. Don't expect miracles, though. For some fabrics (especially if they are lightweight), the wrinkles just seem to fall out, while wrinkles in other types of (heavy) fabrics can be stubborn and it can take quite some time to get them to look presentable. The unit works best when there are just a few large wrinkles to be removed. It won't help with a linen shirt that has been rolled into a ball. There is a problem if you use water with a lot of dissolved solids like we have here in Arizona. It can leave small mineral deposits, if you are not careful. Typically, this is not an issue in US hotels, but may be a challenge in some developing countries. I just use bottled water in those cases. This is a well-made unit and it will be a standard part of my travel kit.

This is a great little portable handheld steamer - perfect for getting the wrinkles out of my clothes. As someone who used to hang their clothes in the bathroom while I showered, so they would get the steam and unwrinkle, this is much better! I love the design and color shade on this as well ~ very sleek and modern looking It has water tank that is easy to remove and put back in ~ I had no issues with it staying flush with the product ~ and it holds enough water for me to steam a few items. With a full water tank, it will provide about 10 minutes of steam and since the tank is easy to refill, it is not a hardship to add more water. It doesn't sputter or leak water, and it heats up fast, producing steam within less than 1/2 minute. The cord is a decent length, but I also recommend if you travel, to bring an extension cord if you can, as you NEVER know where the outlets are in a hotel room. I use this at home, so I don't have issues with the cord length. This is a plug in to an electrical socket and it is only good for 120V, and you cannot use an adaptor on it.
