Infographic NOT ACCURATE. SEE EDIT at end. I bought this cable hoping it will record audio from my amp's DI out to my Samsung Galaxy Note 20. I bought the same cable over a year ago but when I got around to use it, it was already over the 30 days so I thought I just had a dud cable. So a lil over a year later I thought I'd try again. Cable is still a dud for me! I've tried recording directly from my active pickup to my cell, from my amp and from my Hotone Ampero One with max volume and db boost. Output signal in the red and no volume on video. My phone records audio just fine when I'm using my other amp with micro usb to usb c. I dunno why it works for others that have reviewed this cable but for me, it's been a dud twice. Very disappointing. Edit: I realize after doing more research that this cable is ONLY digital to analog. It is NOT bi-directional as is hinted in their pics. Why would they have a guitar in their infographics if this cable doesn't pick up sound from the guitar? ... show more

My 2020 Mac mini has a TRRS audio jack out, and All I had was a TRS to TRS cable to plug into my Behringer HA400 mini headphone amp. The DAC to Analog convertor gives my setup clean crisp separation, and the sound in my headphones is better than it was before. . . much better than I expected. While I was shocked that it worked, it also depends on your application and what your connecting it too. I used this From my phone S22 ultra to a line in to a 12 inch powered speaker and while it worked, the voices sounded very low and almost like a echo effect. It still worked, the music was OK, but the Voices is where I heard it suffered most from phone directly to a line in on a powered speaker. Now I tried from my phone to a Bluetooth speaker with a microphone line in. I noticed a huge difference here. The microphone input here on the Bluetooth speaker sounded great and boosted because it was a microphone input instead on line in. It sounded good on the Bluetooth speaker and boosted and really loud. So if your going to buy this and depending on your application and it has a dedicated microphone input try using it to that instead of Just a regular line in. The dedicated microphone input may be better then just a regular line in. For my application it was the case. The microphone input sounded way better then just a regular line in. Maybe some of the reviews here could have been better if they connected to dedicated microphone input ( quater jack) With that being said, its not studio quality and I probably wouldn't connect this cable alone to a speaker and through a party with it. So user be cautious of that. But for playing music at home or even the back yard when connected to a dedicated microphone input ( quarter jack size) it should be OK. So depending on your applications user experience could very some. ... show more
