I got this because it has an almost 5 star review and we needed something affordable that would stop the rug from slipping, since we have a dog, a 5 year old, a 3 year old, and a baby on the way. My entire house smells just from taking it out of the package but I figured whatever, it'll settle, I'm just excited to not slide on the floor! Unfortunately this has not eliminated or even decreased sliding. It's just as bad as before, except now my house also smells bad. I never leave bad reviews, I don't like to, but I was very excited about this purchase and now am very disappointed. :(

My rugs still slides on my tile. UPDATE: The manufacturer contacted me regarding my purchase and graciously refunded my purchase price and offered me another product that could help. They went above and beyond with customer service; A+ on that.

When taken from the bag, it feels like it will be slippery on a hardwood floor but the opposite is true. It's actually really hard to move out once it's spread flat. And the rug cannot be moved on to of it at all. So, it's actually quite difficult to center the pad under the rug as you have to place it perfectly right because you cannot correct it. If you place it crooked, you have to lift it and place it better. No correction by sliding. Even a bit. But it means it's working! Since i bought it, my rig haven't moved a millimeter. Recommended!

We have ceramic tile floors and just added a long runner in the kitchen and a larger rectangle rug for the mud room. This path is our typical exit and entry from the house, so we needed a non-slip rug pad under both. This "non-slip" rug pad is NOT non-slip. The rug stuck to it but both pieces move quite freely on the tile when the dogs run over it or we walk in the mud room. In the two days I had the rugs down I was so frustrated I finally pulled the pads out, repackaged, and am sending back for a refund.

This is a standard rug pad that doesn't add any cushion, but it does keep the rug from sliding and protects my wood floors underneath. I had to dock two extra stars though because the smell when you open it was so foul I it made my stomach churn. You have to let it air out for a long while to even be able to work with it. It dissipates after a couple of days though.

I ordered this rug for our living room and I wanted something with tones of Gray and Bluish/Turquoise. It really matched great so the picture was very close to the picture. It's a light weight rug and you will most likely need an underneath mat so it won't slide if you are putting it on a hardwood or tile floor. I was very pleased for the price.

These are excellent and easy to install. You can easily cut to size with any decent scissors. Very thin, so it doesn't bulk up the carpet thickness. Non-slip feature is excellent for 3-4 years, then needs replacing, but at these prices that isn't a problem.

This rug grip was not what I thought. I didn't mind that it was so over sized I had to trim it. I cut a lot of excess from all sides for an 8×10 rug size. The worst issues is that it causes uneven bulking under the rug and fails to adequately grip the floor!
