I purchased both the hat and the beanie products and have returned them both. The hat is enormous and could not be adjusted to get it to fit well. The back of the light was very uncomfortable against my head and it was impossible to get the light directed in a useful way for walking or working. If you are concerned about being seen from a distance, these hats might work for you if you can make them fit comfortably. I’ve had a winter hat from this same company for a few years and was happy they now have this baseball cap version to wear in spring/summer. The brightness of the light is really good. I’m glad it is adjustable so I can make it more snug while walking inclines outside.
