This headlamp is very bright and nice to wear. The only problem I have with this light is the cover over the battery. My fear is the battery getting hot. I just received it today I will update this review after I use it more.

We received the item on time. It came just as pictured. Charged it up as soon as we got it then tested it out later that evening. The wife really liked it. She wants me to get one for all of us.(there are 4 people in our home) I may get more at some point. The kids took it outside at night and had fun shining it in the tress. I was surprised how far the light shined. Now before someone asks... I have no idea the actual lumen of this item. All I know it was bright enough to completely light up the crawlspace under our house and if a light can do that then it is bright enough for me. The only thing i didn't like was the soft-floppy battery cover. I know it is there for comfort, but I see this piece easily getting lost. As such I think the company should include an extra battery cover and/or maybe even a harder cover that would snap on more securely. But the soft cover is not a con, as I do understand the purpose of it being softer. So KJLAND if you decide you ever want to send out a freebie we would be glad to take it. Seriously it is a good light especially for our needs. I would tell anyone to give it a try. Good luck Oh on a side note... whoever packed this for shipping, did a terrible job. ... show more

I needed a headlamp when walking at night and I admit I knew it wasnt going to be 12000 lumens. I compared this to my 1500 lumen flash light and they were about the same. Once you get use to it on your head and the bugs attracted to the light ....its actually pretty good. One thing I noticed is that the caps on the back of the head lamps are plastic and we lost a few. I sent the supplier an email and they are sending me another pair. I would recommend putting a little glue on there.to keep them in place. ... show more

I haven't had my light very long before I noticed on of the lens covers was missing. Okay background, I work at a biomass power plant which is a heavy industrial area. Lost of ash, wood fines, heat... just a brutal environment. So I bought this headlamp to replace the cheap ones provided by work. One so I could have a much brighter light, two better battery life and three, rechargeable batteries. The light is amazingly bright and the battery life is fantastic! I work 12 hour shifts and my light is on 9-10 hours of that shift during nights. And the batteries still have plenty of juice left by the end of the shift. But this head lamp cannot take much abuse. It's already malfunctioning and I know it has to do with the harsh environment I work in. But I expected more than a month ( two weeks of use actually ) for longevity. ... show more
