    • DO NoT buy this!!!
Worst design ever!!!!!! This product must be placed in wall studs and the design of the product does not have the brackets placed in multiples of 16 inches (which is standard length for studs distanced). We had nothing but pure frustration putting this together. I highly recommend hiring a professional to install if you ignore my feedback. In addition the brackets have no play for the screws so the measurements need to be spot on for the bed to be mounted to the wall. Just an overall bad design. The main reason for the frustration is you put together the frame of the entire piece then you mount into the wall. it is too late if it doesn’t work out to return it. I highly recommend buying a different Murphy bed. Just can’t believe someone thought this was a good design. It will take about 4 full days of work to get this all out together. We were about ready to scrap this whole thing and put it in the garbage but it was too expensive to do that. We had to place the brackets a different way to get it to work and that was still off a bit. Life is suppose to easier not harder so save yourself…don’t buy it. ... show more

    • Beautiful Piece, but lots in install.
Review Image by Nancy Pinero
Very please with out come. Came out just as pictured. Perfect for my home office/extra guest room. Had guest stay the day after installed and not only did they think it was beautiful and worked perfect for my needs, but are also considering purchasing one themselves. This is a large project, with lots of parts to put together. Instruction manual does state they recommend 4 people to install as it can take about 9hrs. I will say you will Definitely need a Full day to install and at minimum 2 people as there are certain sections you will need an extra pair of hands. Such as when time to pick up top part of unit and mount to wall. Also, putting bed frame together and springs (one will need to hold down frame and also help guide to put suspension in. We felt the bed frame/suspension was the easiest part to install, unlike other comments, and took us the fastest to put together as long as you have assistance. Mounting the unit to wall was challenging due to finding studs for support to match up with unit and where you have to place the supporting brackets. We ordered the large unit with cabinets on both sides of murphy bed, so please keep in mind that you will be receiving about 3-4 large boxes (we had 4) Before you start installing and they Do Not all come in on the same day. Ours came on 3 separate days, but back to back. The parts and hardware are Not found in the same box in the order of installation and you will have to open all boxes to find pieces, but the good thing is that the manual does state which box you can find the piece and hardware in. Therefore, if you don't have the space in the room or home this can be frustrating as it is a lot. We did not have any missing pieces and none were damaged. Don't forget to also measure height and width of room if you have a low ceiling, because again this is a very large unit (tall/wide). Even though this was very time consuming, it did come out beautiful and exactly as described. We are happy with results and purchase. ... show more

    • Overpriced
Review Image by Victoria Y
$300 Shipping was faster than originally quoted. Assembly has been challenging. The wall bracket to secure/anchor to wall isn’t very forgiving you can’t have any floor board and it definitely requires at least two people or assembly. It’s nearly impossible to wall mount as the 4 preset holes in unit to mount; the bottom two are impossible to access wall due to the back panel, and you can’t put the back panel on after wall mounting. Feeling it was a very overpriced for what the quality was. May be better off buying murphy bed springs separately elsewhere and create a better frame from Home Depot lumber and paint. Would not buy or recommend ... show more
