So beautiful I almost cried. I’ve been wanting to add an African Mask plant to my collection for so long. I like having plants at all levels in the room and these plants are so interesting. I wanted a few larger leaf plants. I was really afraid of how it could be received thru the mail but these plants were not only delivered so quickly but SO healthy and every single leaf is gorgeous! Thank you so much!! I also appreciated the expert packing btw…I’m sure that also aided in them being received in simply pristine condition. I’ve had these plants for about two weeks….just today I repotted the Frydek because he is growing like crazy. I didn’t want to mess with the root wad too much but 4 healthy corms with 3 already sprouting fell right out! Yay!! Thanks some more man! Edit: The whole family is doing so great I can’t believe it! I’m adding another photo for comparison after 2 weeks. I want more now!

***UPDATE: All plants recovered beautifully! I am very pleased! I was able ro also identify my plants usimg an app. The seller reponded wuickly and gave advice on how to help them recover. I will purchase from this seller again. updated pics added*** I received my plants today. 3 of them appear as if they will recover after 5 days on the road, 1 seems like it may be on the dying side, but hopefully it may bounce back. Only 1 of the plants came with a name. I do not know the names of they alocasias I received. I have contacted the seller about the names and the dying plant. I will update my review.

I received an Alocasia Black velvet, Frydek, Silver Dragon and Polly. Shipping took a week from Florida to California. Plants were wrapped good, soil still moist and shipping box was sturdy. 2 plants had yellow leaves after opening the box. All the plants are still alive and thriving.

This review is being written roughly 40 days after purchase. Plants arrived on time and were very well packaged. One of the little things that bothered me was that none of them were labeled, and with alocasia's, there are many that look very similar to one another. Within 2 days, I knew I was about to lose what I think was a Silver Dragon (or something similar), as the leaves were all very droopy and frail. I cleaned off all of the soil it was shipped in and got it into some chunky soil mix , but it eventually died off. The other 3 received were transplanted into LECA after about 2 weeks and are all thriving with new leaves. A great value purchase, as most of these plants online retail at $20+ each.

Great customer service as far as responsiveness, but unfortunately these just won’t thrive. I have the same varieties of alocasia from other nurseries/sellers thriving under the same conditions. I’ve noticed all the plants I have gotten from rooted tend to be small and start struggling after about a month, which is outside of their return window. Again, I have the same varieties of plants from other nurseries/sellers that are doing great in the same conditions, even after being shipped. I reached out to rooted to see about reordering this particular bundle with an extended return window but they couldn’t accommodate me, so I won’t be ordering again. Can’t remind them unfortunately.

I’m very impressed with the attention to detail in the packaging—the plants were clearly well-prepared for safe travel despite Indiana’s cold weather. I was relieved to have them arrive before I had to leave for work, and after a few hours of acclimation, they have joined the other plants. All of them arrived in excellent condition. Slight browning on the leaf of on one of the pants.
