So I've tried it all now besides dutch. These were just as easy as any other method and if they're cheaper than a block of rockwool I would get them again. I got great results just using them pre-soaked out of the bag, no bs, just clonex. That alone makes it easier than rockwool.

Root Riot cubes are very easy to use and I’ve been able to achieve a 100% success rate so far propagating hoyas and a few other tropicals in my collection. I bought a 50 count bag in May 2024 and just now finished using up all the plugs. They held up really well while waiting for me to use them all. I have high confidence in this product and will be ordering another 50 count bag in the next few days. I pair the cubes with sphagnum moss for water retention and small clear plastic cups so I can monitor root growth easily. If you do likewise, be sure to poke a whole in the bottom of the cup for drainage. Root Riot has taken lowered the risk of unsuccessful plant propagation significantly. Worked mostly quite well, and saved some time, but the cost is too prohibitive for all my seed needs. I could be buying more seeds ! Lol. Don't overwater. Used with small grow dome unit w small leds inside, and also outdoors.

I put my seeds in water 24 hrs then under a wet paper towel and as soon as they start to show root I put them in these root riot curbs and 100% they all made it. Impressed!!!
