Peat pods suck compared to root riots. Less than 7 day's have Roots. No heat Matt. And leaves still green. Peat pods always Took 8-10 days and leaves we're always yellow. Definitely Root riot plugs big game changer

Not sure how it's happening, but these are slightly different shape than plugs in the exact product and size bags of Root Riot from the feed/garden store. Plugs in one bag from Amazon looked ragged like they were missing tops. Second bag was closer to the normal form. But they work fine and everything started in them looks great. Only other issue is they cost a few dollars more but that saves me the long drive to the city garden center from my very rural area. I would buy them again. ... show more

I got my package and opened it up and started placing the plugs in my growing trays, the one I’m using has 50 cells. They come pre moistened and ready to go after a brief soaking. I loaded my tray up, put it on an heat mat and planted some seeds for my garden. My first batch was about 30 tomatoes and 10 bell pepper. I have been using these for a few years to start a variety of seeds. The holes in the top of the cube allow seeds, even wet and slippery ones, to slide in with ease.
