I used both of these for my baby chickens and they work great. They are the right size for raising chicks and the stand for the water is helpful to keep it clean. No leaks and very stable. I did raise them up on bricks as my chicks grew to keep them clean!

Like that the water can be set up higher using the legs. This feature does help to keep the water clean with baby chicks. The feeder jar would be nicer if it were larger.     • Waterer is great but food container doesn't stay together well

The water dispenser is great, the little feet made a big difference with my chicks not getting shavings and droppings in the water. However, the food container easily came apart, often when filling it or picking it up and was more of a hassle than the metal one I have. I will keep it as a backup for when chickens are sick and isolated, but if this is a new purchase for you, I'd look for one where the base is more secure to the part that holds the food. ... show more
