It didn't fit the 2008 CR-V. Of the 4 anchors only one worked with the rubber spacer removed, the front driver side. The others don't even match. All instructions, package, well made high quality. But doesn't matter when the stud from my car cannot reach the nut. Flawed design.

Instructions are brief, and the bolts are a little soft when you’re using the supplied allen wrench. The bolts ARE the correct length - I’ve seen some reviews saying the bolts are too long, so that issue is rectified. The bars look good on the car - similar to the OEM parts. Haven’t tried tying anything on to them yet, but they are quiet doing 65 mph on the highway- I was worried they would whistle. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Terrible quality, terrible design. A) They literally do NOT fit. See the 6 second video of how loose it is after tightening all the bolts all the way... and the photo showing the problem is that the crossbar is nearly 1/4" too long which is why the mounting bracket won't fit flush with the car's mount point, which is why it is loose. (To be specific, you can mount ONE end flush, but then the other end sticks out past the car's mounting point... you can get a bolt in there but you cannot tighten the mounting bracket down flush to the car's mounting point. Instructions mention you can loosen the bolt that attaches the crossbar to the mounting bracket, but here (again) the shoddy design and quality causes a problem: there is not enough of a "slot" in the bracket's mounting hole to allow the bracket to slide far enough down the crossbar to shorten the effective length to fit the car.) B1) The instructions aren't just "bad" (as other reviewers have noted) they are "wrong"... the instructions provided are for a DIFFERENT DESIGN ... The official Honda OEM rack mounting points are different, but these instructions are a identical copy of the Honda instruction sheet I saw online (except without Honda's copyright notice). B2) By the way nowhere do the instructions even mention you must disassemble all 4 mounting points, each into 3 pieces. Then reassemble all 3 pieces at each of the 4 mounting points as you try to attach it to your car. C) Reviews mention that the caps fall off (which are needed to keep moisture from rusting the mounting points atop your car). As you can see in the photo thats becasue each cap is held on by inadequate squeeze-fit fasteners with a miniscule 1 millimeter lip instead of a stronger fastener design. And the poor fit of the flimsy rubber water guard sleeve is such that it sticks up a bit and prevents the cap fasteners from "clicking" into place. On my car one cap fell off before I even drove out of the parking lot (which is fortunate since I'm returning it, so I need to send all the parts back) ... show more

Screw were not correct according to directions, had to use 4mm hex instead of 5. Then they were too long so I had to go buy different one.

As others have mentioned, the bolts were the wrong length. That was a $14 trip to the hardware store. But then, once the rack was mounted to the car, the covers would not snap onto the mount. Even if they would have "snapped" in, they wouldn't have been flush. And that had nothing to do with the fit to the car ('04 CR-V). ... show more
