Aluminum cross bars are sturdy and have good air foil shape. Good rubber padding at clamp to rail. Plastic end bracket clamp bolt does not appear to have an insert , so that would be the only negative. Probably just as good as OEM which have plastic end clamps too. This is on a lease car, but it may be worth getting OEM if you are using it a lot and keeping the car. ... show more

They were simple to put on and are strong. Don’t feel very cheaply made. The video in the product posting isn’t for what I got but it could depend on the make/model I don’t like that you can see the screws from the knobs. I’ll either end up painting them black or replacing them with ones that aren’t so long and visible. ... show more

The product page indicated an instruction manual and allen wrench were to be provided, but mine came with neither. Also, they were simply in an Amazon box that wasn't quite long enough so they had just extended the end of the box and taped it. I would have expected some kind of packaging from the manufacturer to include a plastic sleeve on each bar, a properly sized box, and perhaps some padding to keep them from banging against each other in transit. I'm guessing I probably received a returned item, so I'll put that on Amazon and not the manufacturer. Lacking instructions, at least each bar had a sticker to indicate front or rear, and another sticker to indicate forward direction so I was able to figure out how to mount them. They seem fairly sturdy, and despite the aggravation, I think it'll work out ok in the end. ... show more
