I prefer this design over other grill baskets, because the sides are not made of a thin mesh wire. Instead, it is more durable stainless steel, that not only contains the food a little better, but, in my opinion, also distributes the heat from the grill more evenly. Seth comes with two sizes that easily nest together for storag. The tops snap in into place securely and hold well, even when you are moving them around on the grill frequently. I also really like having the hooks that allow you to hang these from an upper rack to either keep food warm, or as a method to cook contents more slowly over the heat. Great value and great gift idea for the grill-master in your life!

I ordered these grilling baskets for our bar-b-q to easily bbq veggies. I like to BBQ baby carrots, pieces of onion and diced eggplant and these grilling baskets keep the veggie pieces contained and safe from falling through the grill racks. The stainless steel baskets offer more evenly distributed heat from the grill and easy rotation of the baskets keeps the veggies from burning within them. Overall, the grilling baskets make cooking veggies on the grill tasty and easy.

We tried this on memorial day weekend. Happy belated memorial day everyone! We had onions that were about to bite the dust so we tried those. They turned out good but could have cooked a little longer. I would also recommend putting more in it. With just the onion pieces, when it was turned, the veggies just went to the bottom! There's so much you could put in it like peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes and so on. It's a great concept. No more veggies falling through the rack and charring until they're unrecognizable ! It's very easy to clean as well.

Does just what it looks like, keeps smaller bits of food from falling through the grate while you grill/smoke them. Easy enough to clean and store Only thing that would really make this better would be a ratchetting mechanism to keep it rotated where you want it to, or an automated way to do that.

ITEM: Reclite Rolling Grilling Baskets for Outdoor Grilling BBQ COMMENTS: I’m using these for an unorthodox purpose: emergency evacuation transport cages (or vet trips) for my degus that will chew through anything not metal. Understandably, this review may not provide the best review for those looking to use it for their intended purpose, but I’ve attempted to highlight universal points. PROS: - The cages are a nice size, and I especially like the two sizes depending on needs (in your case, proabably food, in mine, one for my larger, one for my smaller degu). - The metal is stronger than ones with the mesh (we have a wire one for actual grilling). There’s less give to it. - The degas are happy while being transported - there’s just enough room to turn around. The holes are a bit large for their feet, but this means less likely to get stuck, but more likely to poke out/injury if they roll while in them. - The finish is smooth; I was worried about sharp edges from where the metal was punched. While it’s not completely smoothed, I’m not worried about cuts or snags from the inside or outside. - These are the largest I found by a little (but still significant in my case). NEUTRALS: - Only one side opens. I would prefer a dual opening, no matter the purpose. - The latches aren’t the strongest. Luckily, they rely on tension, so you can bend them to create a tighter fit. I wouldn’t call them flimsy, but I do wonder how they’ll hold up over time. CONS: - The stands are eh. I couldn’t get them to work no matter how I tried them. PACKAGING/GIFTABILITY: They came with the smaller inside the larger, with the accessories inside of that. They were in a branded cardboard box and sent in shipping packaging (a cardboard box in my case). Due to this, I consider them directly giftable and gift wrap optional. WOULD I PURCHASE?: Yes, these suited my (unorthodox) needs. The price is acceptable for me, but think the value is between the sale and full price ($20.29 at the time of writing, $28.99 full price). CONCLUSION: These worked well for my unorthodox use as degu travel cages. I find the quality above others that I’ve used, especially in terms of build strength, and they’re larger than other options. Only downsides is they only open on one side and the stands weren’t really functional for me. Overall, I like these, especially for my purpose and would recommend them for that at least. DISCLAIMER: I write completely honest reviews from actual use of the products, with pertinent information that I desire from reviews, and in the same way that I would by purchasing them directly (including considering satisfaction from a cost standpoint). I like that you can grill veggies or anything that’s small enough to fall through your grates. It’s nice to be able to not lose food anymore when trying to turn them.

I got this for my brother for Christmas. We already used it for New Years Eve as he grilled asparagus for us. “I’ll never grill vegetables without this again!,” he said. It’s an affordable way to do so. You could find sturdier and heavier quality cylinders for grilling veggies but this is a simple solution. Easy peasy!
