  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Fit 2022-23 Tundra
Want to share my experience for 3rd generation Tundra owners. I’ve been looking for a ladder rack for the 2023 Tundra. Had concern about the Toyota deck rail but the fit is perfect. It’s easy to install even without an instruction manual. It’s well designed with solid nuts and bolts. It feels sturdy. I think it looks good. There are locking mechanisms to secure the rack as well as things mounted on the rack. Quite happy with it. I probably could’ve put the whole thing together in 30 minutes if not for being ocd trying to get the bars positioned just right. ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars great for the money
gave 4 stars because one of the uprights was not fully pre drilled for bolts, other then that great product.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Great rack - measurement warning
Excellent rack and easy to install, but NOTE: under-bar stripping lengths do NOT apply to all Tacomas … measure and then cut!! Must vary by year. But again, sturdy rack and looks great!

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars Decent value but low quality hardware and no customer support
Several hardware components were damaged without any extra components. Customer support at Reese/Rola hasn't bothered getting back in touch either. These are critical bolts that have a relatively high torque spec and the only other option is to return the entire kit to get three bolts.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Good quality sturdy rack after lengthy setup process
Pros: Looks good, strong quality construction and bolts and nuts, locking anti-theft hardware, good price, fits into 2018 Nissan Titan SV with oem rails easily using included spacers. Cons: no instructions, paper insert that came with item pointed to website that didn’t work. Ended up looking up the model on Google to find instructions & YouTube to find install videos. Locking nuts with key that go on the rack rails are kind of flimsy and I can’t seem to get one un-screwed even when unlocked. Some parts don’t completely line up flush on the rack even after full assembly. Should have included small hacksaw for the needed cuts to underside of rails. Overall 4/5 stars with lowest being for assembly and locking issue on bed rail. ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Nice rack!! ;)
I have this same exact rack on my Tacoma. It's very sturdy. Good design. The second time I purchased this was for my Tundra. FedWrecks delivered it damaged (box repaired with tape) and the package was missing a critical piece (an upright support). If there is any hardware missing or needing replaced, you're outta luck because more than half of the hardware is NOT "off-the-shelf" hardware and the manufacturer will NOT supply whatever might be missing, so you'll be returning it if something is missing. It's worth mentioning that I do highly recommend the product, ***BUT*** when you thread the stainless bolts into the "RIvet-nut" or "Nut-sert" in the upright, do so very carefully because these are not installed very tightly at the factory. If you cross the thread and gaul the end of the bolt or booger up the rivet-nut, you're going to have one helluva time because the rivet-nut will just spin while you're attempting to back out of your rookie mistake. Stainless is notorious for this. Spreetail went out of their way to process my return late. They could have easily said, "Sorry, not sorry." but they did me right. ... show more

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars Is the Rola Rack worth the Money?
After waiting over a month for UPS to deliver, I finally had to pay UPS to allow me to pick it up at their facility. It got lost somehow. WTF. After taking the rack parts out of the damaged box, I noticed damaged and scratched powder coat areas. The box apparently experienced some abuse during its time with UPS. Aside from that, The rack parts have quality welds and overall I was pleased with the rack and its finish. It came with no instructions (not that we read them anyway right guys?) but was fairly simple to figure out what went where. Fitment was fine and once installed it is actually a very sturdy rack. The main issue with the rack is the locking spin caps that hold the rack to the bed rail. Each corner has two spin caps for a total of eight. Two of them are locking caps to prevent or at least slow down potential rack theft. The keys have no cuts in them and when I stuck them into the lock they would not turn. Pulling the key out resulted in the lock mechanism pulling completely out into my hand. These locks are junk. After reading reviews of others having similar problems with the locks and with the lack of customer support responding I'm going to chock it up as a learning experience and solve the theft issue another way. Be forewarned, the two spinning cap locks are useless junk. Aside from the locks, the rack is worth the money. ... show more
