  • Lots of bang for your buck.
Style: TV only Size: 55"
Okay this TV is amazing for the price. Picture quality is fantastic, dark colors are deep, and lights are vibrant. Sound quality is also great, and very immersive, so much so that I had to mute it a few times because it sounded like the sounds were coming from somewhere else in my house.😂 The feet of the TV are metal rather than plastic like most others of this price range which is a nice touch. And roku’s remote and operating system are very intuitive, user friendly and customizable. If you’re looking for a good TV for a good price, I highly recommend this one. ... show more

  • Best viewing on A budget
Style: TV only Size: 65"
This streaming ROKU TV is awesome. I've been very blown away by "everything "dealing with this tv . Its A replacement for an LG TV. THE PICTURE QUALITY IS THE GREATEST. STREAMING connections through apps very easy to navigate. Screen size is never better, just right for my livingroom. I ALSO have A Roku Hisense 58" tv , which I ve had since the end of March. Thumbs up 👍 To ROKU ... show more

  • Fantastic TV, recommend over Select Series, but one flaw
Style: TV only Size: 55"
There are several versions of the Roku TV. This one is the Plus, the other is the Select. My only recommendation is SPEND THE EXTRA $100 and go with THIS PLUS model. DO NOT get the Select. True, you will save $100, but the picture quality on the Select is sub-par. I ordered the Select first, returned it and exchanged for this Plus and it was the best $100 or so I've ever spent. It was well worth the extra money, the picture quality and build quality on this Plus model is fantastic. The sound is good, but get a Roku Sound Bar for even better. The only complaint is with the USB Port. This issue is present on the Select AND Plus. if you use bias lights, and plug into the TV usb port, there is a flaw. The menu has two options: "Turn off with TV" and "Delayed Off". Delayed off keeps USB power for some time after the TV is powered off for charging things. So selecting Turn off with TV you would think would turn off USB on power off. Nope, still a delay of about 10 minutes. So if you have Bias lights, and turn off the tv to go to bed, they will stay on for 10 minutes in Turn off with TV mode, and longer in Delayed Off. This is a firmware modification I hope Roku will make. However, for me it;'s worth the hassle now as this is a fantastic TV. ... show more

  • My first new TV in 11 years
Style: TV only Size: 55"
The world of TV technology has evolved several generations since my last purchase. This Roku 55" Plus-Series is a very good piece of hardware. The image is bright, clear, readable, and viewable at acute angles. The sound is good enough to dissuade me from buying a sound bar (my hearing is degraded). However, I do not like ANY of the streaming TV user interfaces (Google, Roku, et. al.) I really wanted a good dumb TV (I use a Fire Stick for any streaming needs), but good dumb TVs are no longer available. I chose the Roku system for its simpler reputation (I watched a lot of YouTubes), especially for a neophobic wife (who's actually doing well with the Roku interface). I resented being forced to create a Roku account in order to unlock my TV. The End User Agreement is somewhat frightening, but they all are. I certainly do understand that TVs are cheaper/better because the manufacturers make their real money selling information and from streaming revenue. If you are looking for a streaming beast of a TV, you will be pleased with this purchase. As for me, I surrendered no wireless passwords (used ethernet) when setting up this TV, and this TV will never use the internet again. Regardless, I give 5 stars for this TV, for ease of setup, operation, and quality. I could certainly recommend it. ... show more

  • Very good TV.
Style: TV only Size: 55"
This TV has a very good picture. Not as good as my daughter's Samsung OLED TV, but that is to be expected. OLED is top of the line and this TV is a quarter the price. The picture is clear. At time it looks like I am at a live performance. The AI does an excellent job of upscaling non 4K shows. The sound coming from the TV speakers is a strong point on this Roku TV. Much more depth than others that I have owned. It is better than what comes out of a brand name 2 channel soundbar that I own. It is however lacking the deep base that a subwoofer would add. The Roku system is efficient and simple which will be attractive to a lot of people, but there are some shortcomings. The settings menu is very basic, and lacks choices that help tweak performance. Had to send a soundbar back because the Roku lacked the settings necessary to match up to that brands needs. The home screen is also very basic. Roku has dated styles of wall papers and screen savers compared to Amazon Fire TV. Also lacks the ability to tweak applications such as the resetting of cache. I am pleased with this Roku TV. Good picture and sound. Very good for the price. Just not knock your socks off perfect. ... show more

  • AS A PC MONITOR
Style: TV only Size: 65"
November 02, 2025... as a PC monitor, IT'S HUGE. there are almost 9 million pixels, and with magnification I can see individual pixels. the transition between a light and dark border is almost perfect. no blur, no shadow, no nothing. one teeny tiny row of pixels where contrasting colors meet might be affected, but I've never seen anything like this... lol, I'm impressed. maybe it should be curved, but oh well. the aspect ratio is slightly wider than the claimed 16:9, my Intel integrated graphics supplies the proper resolution. I'm shutting it down once per day and when it's turned back on, the display and sound settings must be reconfigured. no biggie, will seek a solution later. my original giddy review... as my record shows, I rarely give five stars. it's not curved (like my current 1000R Samsung monitor) but everybody knows that. here's an anecdote, but this is important... spent most of my adult life doing computers since the IBM PC. at any store that sold a (CRT) monitor, I always looked at them to examine the text display. all blurry. I guess LCD cleared up that problem, but in recent times I never noticed store TVs looking acceptable. at some point THAT CHANGED. much to my guru surprise... this TV is an amazing computer monitor, mainly because it's humongous AND the fact THE TEXT IS CRISP AS CAN BE. I can't speak for any other big screen TV because I know little/nothing about them, I just know what text should look like and this is it. I'm using a mini PC with HDMI output. the Windows graphic display resolution output aspect ratio is 16:9 (that's what this Roku series is supposed to be, but currently there is a very narrow margin on the sides). on these monitors there is no pinhole for a factory reset, it's the two buttons held simultaneously, for 7 seconds, 22 seconds, and some greater number of seconds, to accomplish the corresponding functions (reset, factory reset, and some recovery mode). I think the trick to using it as a monitor with no Internet connection is easy, maybe just select store display and then avoid selecting the store display submenu item. I will stream tennis and whatever, through my PC, to enjoy the graphics part of it, too. not much into gaming lately but RTS would have been amazing, Warcraft II, Total Annihilation, and Age of Empires II HD Edition (which is still played). if anything fails, I will decrease the rating and maybe update this review. GLHF. ... show more

  • Very Happy
Style: TV only Size: 65"
The TV came quickly and was easy to unbox and set up. The picture is sharp and the audio is clean. Two nice extra features: voice-activated remote and find the remote. Hoping it’s more durable than my last 65-inch TV, a TCL that lasted less than four years and died 24 hours after the Knicks championship game. Felt like a near death experience. ... show more
