I don't like the BOOM that puts your head in the windshield and rattles the bolts out of car. So these are perfect, clean deep bass, no thud, no rattle. I built a custom box with multi channeled ports that really enhances the sound quality.

So far after year of continuous playing in my car the speaker hasn't failed on me. I know there are videos that show Rockville speakers failing and I had legitimate concerns when I first bought it but after listening to it for over a year now and no type of issues I could say this is a solid speaker. I would tell amateurs or pros just use the speakers with the recommended wattages and RMS and it should last you. For the money it's awesome. DO NOT WIRE AT 1 OHM. YOU WILL BLOW IT. Sub works incredible with a ported box. 1000rms is enough to blow it unless you pay attention.
