My husband been wanting a 15 in speaker for while. He seen this one here that he liked so much, but the happiness didnt last long. He had it about two weeks, he goes to listen to it today and sounds like it busted, he only has it up on 2 so we know it should not have just busted the only other thing it sits in his hot truck while he’s working. I don’t know if that would’ve had a factor because he really did take care of it… not sure if the speaker is defective or it’s just a bad name brand.. needless to say his happiness didn’t last too long once he heard that it was busted ... show more

Didn't keep the sub under load or continuous stress, only played it sometimes and at low to medium volumes. Rarely would I let it hit hard and when I did it was only for at most 15-30 seconds of a song and it still blew with two and a half weeks .

I had it about 5 months and It blow it and only had it hooked up to an 1200 watt amp when it’s rated for 2000 I broke it in took it easy for the first 2 months and I got it up to about 3/4 volume and it blow. It’s a cheap sub

Terrible. Rockville has deemed itself to be trash. I bought an amplifier and that roasted in 3 months... now a dead sub that had MAX 300 watts going into it cuz i had it wired at 4ohm. Do not buy. I had it powered by an MTX JH10001 and it blew a coil within 3 days of having it.
