Description

The Rockville RV8.2A combines powerful performance with easy installation in a complete car audio kit. This system includes dual 8" subwoofers rated at 800 watts peak power and a CEA-2006 compliant mono amplifier with 1200 watts peak output. The amplifier delivers 200 watts RMS at 4 ohms or 400 watts RMS at 2 ohms, providing clean, punchy bass for any music genre. The ported enclosure is designed with a quasi transmission line layout and bottom-firing vents angled at 15 degree to optimize in-vehicle bass alignment. Built from durable 3/5" MDF and wrapped in premium tweed carpet with an embroidered Rockville logo, it's engineered for long-term use. Also included is a full 8 AWG wiring kit-power, ground, RCA, speaker, remote wire, and bass control knob-making it easy to integrate with stock or aftermarket stereos. I love these subs they are amazing the install was a little more difficult than expected for this being my first time doing subs. Had to adjust some setting on the amp to make the sound more clear just based onthe setting on my head unit but overall great price and will be back to buy more for other vehicles haven't rlly been able to test durability but from little I have they hold up great. Size was a little tricky in my crew car but I made it work while still being able to use my seat. Overall great look great power and great durability so far ... show more

I would have given 5, but the installation kit wire connectors were very low quality and the fuse in the amp was broken. It took us a bit to figure out why we weren’t getting power once everything was connected. I used my own connectors and a spare fuse was included in the kit. There was also no video instructions for installing the high signal input for those who have a stock stereo. Otherwise, good buy for the price. The speakers have pretty good sound. Love the fact that this was a cost effective upgrade. Comes with an Amp and a kicker and the wiring. You cant beat that. Easy to install, if you know what your doing. The hardest part is getting it fine tuned per your radio. I have this hooked up to a Kenwood radio that has so many features it makes my brain numb. SO everything is working great. Cant go wrong with this deal. I may get another one for my spare ride. There is one thing, buy some form of mounting brackets or strap, if its in a spot where it will fly around. Like in my Magnum, see pic's. I had 2 aluminum brackets already, so I put this in and it is not going anywhere. I mounted the amp to the back of the kicker. Sounds great. If you want your cars stereo to sound worse than than stock speakers then you ought to buy these POS speakers. The subwoofer should not have less bass than my stock door speakers, yet it does. Terrible, do not buy. Awful product

After a year I would say best cheap subwoofer you can buy, it comes with everything you need but if you want to use your stock radio you need an LOC converter, many people say to connect the LOC to the head unit but theres no problem connecting it to the + and - on the rear speakers. The bass is great it slightly rattles mirrors and when it starts clipping it doesnt sound like it’s about to blow up. Me personally I have the amp on max bass and the speakers hold up well. got this and installed it the next day - for such a small box it really sounds great the price was good and i figured , even if it turned out to be junk i would not cared so much, but wow it turned out to be great for my wrangler . it filled in the missing low end i wanted and then some, i turn down the control and get the sound i want - 8" speakers sound amazing for the price im now super happy when i have all the doors off i can hear the music perfect and get the low end i wanted - its not 12" shake your head around, but for a little box its really really good ... show more
