The Rockville Destroyer 15D2 15" Competition Car Audio Subwoofer is built for enthusiasts who demand extreme bass power and durability. Delivering 8000W peak, 4000W program, and 2000W RMS, it produces competition-grade low frequencies with precision and impact. Its USA-made 3" 4-layer aluminum voice coils are rated to handle 300–350°C, reinforced by high-temp black glue for added thermal stability. A triple-stacked 300 oz Y35 magnet structure and 1-piece chrome T-yoke with stamped logo provide maximum BL rating, improved excursion, and superior motor strength. The non-pressed paper cone is ultra- stiff and reinforced with silver stitching, while the shiny paper dustcap withstands high heat. An extra-thick foam surround and Nomex spider ensure durability with minimal distortion, even under heavy use. With a 35mm XMAX, this subwoofer achieves exceptional excursion for powerful, accurate bass. Designed for flexibility, the dual 2-ohm coils support multiple wiring setups. It fits sealed enclosures of 2.02–2.47 cu.ft. or vented enclosures of 3.16–4.41 cu.ft. Installation is made easy with 8-gauge chrome-plated binding posts, a rubber mounting gasket, and a protective rubber magnet boot. Got one of these for my 014 BMW 535I - This sub absolutely slaps. I have it wired to 4 ohms and is housed in a Harmony HA-BV1X15E Enclosure. I've only had this sub hooked up for less than a day but am absolutely thrilled with the power of this Subwoofer. I have powered by one of their dB16 amps. Will upload pics later. Update: Happy af with this purchase. May get a second one so I can wire it down to 2 ohms. PS: I think I might need a larger enclosure - I know I hear chuffing out of the one I have it in. For the price and availability is why I went with this sub not as a brand I was looking for DS18 Hurricane sub.the specs are great and this is my first day with it and it amaze. I made my box as spec to the sub recommendation and lil bigger for Air flow I have a 3000 what taramp pushing it at 2000 RMS. I would say this is a great buy ... show more

This driver is a huge value for the money. Very high quality materials used. Honestly it's built like a $450 sub for half the price. I hit 142.7db outlaw in a kia soul. Custom box. Stock charging system. On a cab 2000.1.... Very impressive and will float a napkin or bag with the window open.

Had to remove the rubber to fit in my box amazing sound quality the video is before tune I don't have one after tune my rockville 6k amp powers this pretty well but needs to have a bigger amp and prob a capacitor surprisingly fit in an 02 ford focus zx3

I bought 2 of this a month ago and the first day I got it installed by professionals they started smelling very bad with moderate volume so I decided to keep them and be easy with them but I guess it wasn’t enough and today they got burned i just want my money back
