bought this to replace jensen a-300 in the truck on 2 10's. plenty of power, sounds great and much cleaner than the late-80s jensen (no surprise). the small footprint of this amp fit in the available space with room to spare. just installed last nite, so not much time on it yet. but, i have a rockville 5ch in the boat, which is awesome also. rockville amps are the best value i've found. ... show more

Although i only installed this a few days ago, initial impressions are first rate. Quality case, proper terminal connections . Soft and auto sense turn on is a big plus. I purchased an LCR 2 i by audio control as i felt it would be needed , however when testing the high level inputs and comparing the Audio Control it was obvious it want needed so took it back and just went with the Rockville inputs. After trying out Boss, Power Acoustik , both of which went into protection on turn on, this Rockville was fine, good clean bass, excellent metal quality remote bass knob, although a bit of a daft design if you just want to stick it somewhere rather than screw it. Apart from that it certainly looks and sounds like a high quality amp, running it into a 4ohm OEM sub box in my 2018 Ram produces a great sound. Impressed , will update in a few months. Now adding to this review, still performing well , changed the speaker to a 2 ohm and amp now has much more useable output. Always suspect when I see very few reviews on a product, but decided the specs on this were good and have to say this is a well built quality amp, much more than I can say for many of the others. ... show more

    • Failed after a few months..and killed a sub??!
I purchased this Rockville dB11 amp on April 29, 2026, and it lasted only a few months before failing completely. It looks nice..under my seat..was good value for a budget amp....or so i thought!! During the time I was using this amp, one of my subs also blew. I couldn't say for certain whether the amp contributed to the sub failure, so I replaced the sub and continued using the amp. The replacement subwoofer had been working normally. Then one morning I noticed I had no bass and found that the 40A fuse on the amp had blown. When I tried another fuse, it blew almost immediately. I initially suspected my installation, so I thoroughly checked the system with a multimeter. The amp was receiving proper battery voltage, the remote turn-on wire was receiving the correct voltage, and all of my connections were secure. I then completely disconnected the amplifier from the vehicle and measured between its power and ground terminals. The amp showed an extremely low-resistance path consistent with an internal short. At this point, the amp itself to have suffered an internal failure. What makes this particularly disappointing is that the system worked for months before dying. Between the amp failing after such a short period and having already experienced a blown sub while using it, I I pinpointed the issue to this amp. I can't say the amp caused the earlier sub failure, but considering what happened to the amp, it certainly seems like it. An amp purchased in late APRIL should not be internally shorted and unusable only a few months later. If you're considering this amp because of the low price, I'd spend the extra cash on a more reputable car-audio amp. After troubleshooting this unit and spending so much money on subs I will not be purchasing another Rockville dB11. ... show more

As advertised i have on 1 pioneers pro series 10 and it does wonderfully play it for 3hrs straight didnt get extremely hot and held up now if your looking for window shattering bass this not for you but just right for a beginner system and it don't break the bank

Bought the used one comes in very secured bubble wrap packaging and it has only few scratches on the other side rest of the amp looks clean and unused i use it for connect my two subwoofers and it works amazing as it’s described no issues with adjusting the controls on the amplifier best value for money ... show more
