The Punch P600X4 is a 4-channel amplifier producing 150 Watts into all four channels at 2-Ohm. The P600X4 is perfect for a 4-way full-range system or a 3-way system having a front stage with subwoofers on the rear channels. The Punch P600X4 multi-channel amplifier is versatile to power any audio system configuration. The stealth top mounted control panel not only provides a sleek finished look to the amp, but it also protects the vital controls. Our custom heat sink design uses high aluminum mass where it is needed most to maximize heat transfer from the output MOSFETS to the surrounding air, keeping the circuitry cool even under high power and output demand. PUNCH p600.4 is a good amp, it produces a good amount of power and its clean sounding , high SQ. MY SPEC SHEET Claims 529 watts @ 4 ohms, thats right around 132 watts each channel@ 4 ohms. This amp has the c.l.e.a.n technology and it appears it does a good job cause the sound is clear at high volume, my ears give out before the clear music does. This amp is pushing 4 HERTZ door speakers and its loud, prolly hearing damage loud, but still clean and clear with no distortion. Was debating between this and the 4 channel Power series. I am glad I went with this one because it matches my speakers perfectly. I am pushing four 6.5 inch Sony 162ES component speakers which have an RMS rating of 90 watts. The birth certificate of this amp is over 100 watts per channel at 4 ohms so they match perfectly. It my opinion RF amps are the best amps you can get. The comfort that comes with buying this brand, knowing it will last for years and years is worth the cost. I don't feel like dealing with a dead amp every 2-3 years. I am also pushing my subs with the RF Punch 1000. I am freaking rocking out. i had a kicker amplifier IS704, had it repaired 3 times over the years, got fed up, so i puchased this rockford amplifier because my old rockford amp still works up to this day and am satisfied with its performance through the years, (bought it together with the kicker IS704) its been 15 years. we needed a smaller wattage amp to our smaller car, this is a very good amplifier, used it to power my sony 2 din stereo, hooked it with four mb quart separates for my front and rears, sounds great...still got my old rockford fosgate punch amp to power my kicker subwoofer, no problems at all, great product, rockford fosgate amplifiers are of good quality.. will definitely use rockford fosgate...... ... show more

Yes I have seen bigger and more powerful, sure...but for the price and the kind of sound it puts out it is well worth the money and I purchased this before the price came down substantially. Testing these against some JL audio components in custom enclosures I built to put in my ceiling they really have a clean thump and pristine mids and highs. I would recommend snapping one of these up while still offered at this substantially lowered price, you won't be disappointed. ... show more

I replaced an Alpine (100w x 4) class-D amp on my boat with this Rockford Fosgate (75w x 4) class A/B amp and it sounds much better . It's driving (4) Alpine 6 x 9 speakers, model 6912m. More than enough power. This amp gets just as loud as the 100w Alpine. I think both amps are plenty of power for the Infinity's. This amp was very easy to fine tune. Nice controls. Parametric Bass EQ let me pick the bass frequency I wanted to boost and then a separate gain control to adjust the bass level to just how I wanted it. Perfect Boom... but not too much to interfere with the rest of the music, but it's really there. Boom. All the harmonics that were missing with the class-D amp are back now. I listen to rock and occasionally rap/pop. This amp is perfect for that. Rock on Fosgate! ... show more

I've gone through a bunch of amps, mostly because I was trying to save a dollar on an inferior product. Rockford is American made, true RMS rated, and produces crystal clear sound. The Clean setup feature ensures there is no clipping which protects your speakers and amp from damage and ensures optimal sound quality. Got this in yesterday and to my surprise the birth sheet was 821 watts! Running 2 sets of alpine type r 6.5 components at 4 ohms, my soundstream 4.560 was louder at 4 ohms but the sound quality on this is way cleaner. It is 3 times the price but you get what you pay for! The set up was kind of confusing at first with the clean set up, but found out my radio does not distort even at max volume, after that it was easy. Very clean look and for being 1/2 the size of my other amp it weighs a lot more. Sounds just as good as my wife's jl 700/5 xd but a lot cheaper. After breaking this in i read more and turned the punch eq up that also works on the hpf if you read instructions, after turning this up 1/2 way i can turn my stereo up 1/2 way and it is loud! So if you purchase it before you think its not loud play with the settings before thinking something is wrong. Just bought the t1 6/9', and t1 component 6.5's to match. Update this review once thats done to see how they match up with this amp soundwise. ... show more
