I wanted to add a center console to my 24' river boat, and this was an economical solution. My Mercury outboard came with controls for speed and forward/reverse, but not for steering. This hydraulic kit was just what I needed.

I hooked it all up went easy with my hoses and everything and this is what we got while trying to bleed the lines. Is there a chance I can get new lines without undoing the whole thing to return it?

Only had it a year and I already have a blown seal. I thought I just had air in the lines and spent a lot of time and money putting new fluid in and bleeding the lines and got nowhere. I can move the engine with my hand so have a blown seal. Very dangerous.
