This is a high quality and hard hitting subwoofer. I really feel like I'm getting more than I paid for with this one. I have this paired up with a second of the same model and I just love watching the flex in unison when I'm listening to music. I listen to a variety of genres and they just fit each one so well. I get appropriate bass for my mood (whether that none or panel rattle). Of course these aren't going to flex your windows but they will definitely have people turning their heads and rolling their windows up when you cruise right on by. ... show more

Ordered 2 of the Punch 1-12's and neither came with there rings or screws like normal Rockford, but both were in new condition and my 10 inch CVR Kickers are much heavier than these, I'm about to hook them up and see if I regret ordering them * After installing 2 in my GMC Sierra single cab, they sound awesome I have only got to half volume so far and its strong and I'm only pushing them with a mono Kicker 250, and they need spacers in standard truck boxes, and I still haven't installed the 500.1 Rockford I got for these, its gonna be outrageous and the only reason its not 5* is the rings were missing and the descriptions didnt mention that although they were used at 60+ dollars so overall I'm super happy I purchased these, it's about the only way I would get Punch series is with a drastic sale or used, but the subs look new as if never installed, I'm guessing a manufacturer defect with no ring or damaged ring and the seller removed to sell as is, but should mention that directly. ... show more

As advtised. Arrived on time. Arrived in new RF cardboard boxes and had all original packaging. Came with RF stickers. Speakers are of brand new quality, nice and stiff but flixible. I coupled these speakers with a RF 500x1 mono amp and they flex my 1" box at low hz. Deliver clean powerful bass at an affordable price.     • First sub I've ever blown during break in!

Blew in two days during break in. I bought to replace a planet audio sub that I thought was blown come to find out it was my planet audio amp that was going out. Replaced amp and while getting amp set at low power so I could break in the sub at the same time, I started smelling burning and before I could shut it down the sub started popping. Had to put the PA sub back in and it handles the amp at near full power. I've had the PA setup for over ten years and pushed the sub beyond it's limits the entire time and it still works. Purchased this as a replacement for a home powered sub that my son blew. The Fosgate was a little bigger than the one it was replacing so I had to cut the hole bigger. It's wired to a 250w plate amplifier in a pretty modest, down firing box. This sub is 10 times better than what was in there. I think this sub could take more power than what I'm pushing it with.
