I love this Roborock Q Vacuum and Mop. There is honestly only one con that took me forever to figure out, but the pros outweigh this con. Pros: -All-in-One Functionality: This is truly an all-in-one vacuum and mop. You set the robot to vacuum, and it will vacuum and empty itself when done. When set to mop, it will mop and clean the mop multiple times before finishing and returning to the dock. The only "manpower" required is emptying the dirty water after mopping and filling it with the cleaner solution beforehand. -Third-Party Cleaners: I love that I can use third-party cleaners. Roborock claims you need to use their cleaner, but it's pricier and doesn't smell great, nor clean. I use Bissell Multi-Surface Cleaning Formula, and it works flawlessly. I've used different scents like Citrus, Lavender, and even the Pet Formula, all of which smell fresh. After using the Bissell Cleaning Formula for almost a year, I've had no issues using it with the Roborock. -AI 3D Map Technology: The AI 3D map technology is impressive. It maps out your entire house and allows you to clean specific zones or the whole house. I haven't had many issues with it bumping into things as it already knows what's around the house. Even when I move objects around, the sensors are excellent at detecting new placements, so it doesn't bump into things so violently like a Roomba. There's also customization options, including choosing the direction for vacuuming/mopping. -Customer Support: Great customer support. We had issues with the WiFi, and customer support guided us through the solution over the phone. Main Con: -WiFi Connection: This device does not allow you to connect if you have special characters in your WiFi password. BUT you don't necessarily need to change your password. The way around this is to go to create a new guest network through your router app (ie Asus). This generates a different network and password without special characters. For my specific router brand, my guest network only lasts up to 30 days, after which I need to create a new one. However, clicking a few taps on my phone to auto generate a new network if I want to use the vacuum in 30+ days is not a huge issue. I guess this also depends on your brand of router as some probably allow longer times or permanent guest networks, but that would be the main way to get the app to function and connect to the robot. I do wish Roborock would fix this in their next model to allow special characters in WiFi passwords. Overall, the Roborock Q does a phenomenal job cleaning, and I notice a significant difference. It saves me a lot of time, and even when I'm not home the robot will still clean and finish the job. I highly recommend it if you're looking for an all-in-one cleaning robot!

*Update: Recommend buying the newer Q Revo S or Revo Pro models if they are on sale* I originally purchased a white Qrevo robot during a Mother’s Day sale for $670 which was a steal for how good this robot performs. Simply put it, this robot will do everything it advertises consistently and well. It feels and looks amazing to have a clean floor every day without vacuuming myself anymore. BUT, you have to take the time to learn and use the Roborock App well in order to maximize the robots potential and do maintenance. It took 5 min to map out my 1300 sqft floor with all doors open and rooms already cleaned up, and about 2 hours to learn and adjust all my settings as best as I could. I then paid attention to the robot while it cleaned for the next 3-4 days and made small adjustments to the cleaning schedule, robot settings and floor map to help the robot clean perfectly every time. I use 1.5 caps of the official floor cleaning solution. Once I perfected the settings and cleaning schedule, my robot will consistently vacuum my floors daily from 3-6am before I wake up and mop the floors 4 days a week from 10am-noon. I change/fill the water tanks and clean the dock base once a week and the vacuum bag lasted a month easily. All weekly Maintenance takes less than 5 min. I have multiple cats and a big dog that sheds. It’s not perfect, when something too big gets sucked up or stuck in the robot, it will alert you or you can open up the robot brush without tools and clear obstacles very easily. I feel like 90% of the complaints people have could be solved by changing settings. Like vacuuming rugs before mopping the floor so they don't get wet or setting up a no go zone on the map where big loose window curtains are so it doesn’t get stuck or moving power cords out the way so they don’t get dragged. I like using the do not disturb feature so it doesn’t empty the dust bin early in the morning. That thing is F***ing LOUD for about ~10 seconds when it empties the dust. Overall, I think this robot is the best VALUE you can get for virtually hands free automatic vacuuming and mopping. It has all the important features to clean floors well without being over $1000 like the super fancy robot models with the nice to have features. I ultimately returned my Qrevo robot within 30 days because the new Qrevo Pro model came out on sale at a different store for $799. I think that one has even better features and it’s cheaper than what this robots original full price is. The maxV model is cool too but I would only consider it when it has a big sale.

Update: I purchased 10/2023, died -1/2025. Less than 15 months of working. Tried everything to get it to work again. No luck. original Review This is my third robot vacuum. The first two were in the $150 bracket. This time I decided to spend the BIG bucks and go for this expensive robot vacuum. IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! I am kicking myself for not buying this sooner. I have had it for about 2 weeks now. PROS: 1). You can set the robot to either do vacuum and mopping on the same run. The mop heads raise up when it senses carpet. OR. You can set it to vacuum the whole house first then start the mopping. It takes a longer but looks really great. 2). Doesn’t get stuck as much the previous robots did. RoboRock has more sensors, that could be the reason. 3). Thousand times quieter!!!! 4). You can just tell Siri or Alexis or Google Asst to clean in the middle of day., with a voice command. 5). It speaks in clear English what is wrong. My other vacuums spoke in code. “Error message 32” 6) Does a fabulous job in cleaning and mopping!! Cons: 1). You have to pay attention to the clean and dirty water containers. I have the mop on maximum+ which means you need to change it at least every day or every other day. If you have it on regular mopping it last about 3 or 4 days, depend on your square footage.
