    • Zuru Robo Alive...Is it worth bringing home a new pet? We think so!
Review Image by Darby Girls
We have always had good luck with Zuru toys, and this is no exception. We bought both the Robotic Lizard and the Snake and they both arrived on time and well packed. Both items were bigger than expected so we were pleasantly surprised. Once out of the box the only thing we needed to do is to insert the batteries. The Lizard takes 2 AA batteries (not included) and the snake takes 2 AAA batteries (not included). Reading some of the reviews we have seen others commenting about the battery installation and the difficult time they had. We didn't experience this. We used a very small flathead screwdriver for the lizard and a very small phillips head for the snake. Both screws came out easily. Once the batteries were in all you have to do is flip the power switch (located underneath) on and your ready to go! We were very surprised on how both the lizard and snake moved. The snake slithers as a real one does, and is incredibly lifelike! The lizard is also very close to the real thing. We were filming a YT video for our channel and we did try these outside. The snake had a little problem on the sidewalk moving freely, however, the sidewalk was also covered with a lot of debris, so we assumed it was because of that. Put it on a smooth surface though and it will go with no problems at all!! Both the snake and the lizard are great buys for the price. We have done videos on toys that were much more expensive and not near the fun as these. These would also to be fun to surprise Grandma next time your visiting! :) We would definitely recommend the Zuru Robotic Toys!Zuru Robo Alive Robotic Snake Toy Pet (Red) ... show more

    • My 4 yr old loooves this toy.
My son absolutely loooves this. We purchased this one as well as the lizard. It’s pretty realistic (for a 4 year old) and he loves to “prank” people and have it slither in the kitchen while I’m making dinner or by the couch while dad is watching tv. My son has gotten lots of enjoyment out of this toy. Unfortunately it did break within a few months but i think that was more due to our rough 4 yr old then the actual toy. The lizard is still holding up. ... show more

    • Did not receive color ordered
Review Image by khepner3
I ordered a red one at my sons request. After I submitted the order the snake appeared orange in the details. Orange wasn’t even a color option when ordering. I rechecked what I had ordered and it said I ordered red. Snake comes and sure enough it’s bright orange. Thankfully my son was so excited to finally have one that he didn’t care that it was orange. The tail has come apart a few times but it is easily fixed. My sons love it though and it seems to work great. ... show more

    • Fun and scary.
I loved the snake,in fact I bought two more for other young men on my Birthday list. The only bad thing about it is,it is hard to get the batteries in and get it put back together. Wish it came totally operational.

    • Cheap, only worked for 1/2 day
My 4 year old son worked for two weeks doing yard to make enough to buy this toy by himself. He was so excited when it arrived and It was actually a neat toy. At the end of the first day while holding the toy it began to smoke, literally went up in smoke and does not work now. My poor little guy is beside himself since the first toy that he worked to buy himself ended up not working. Super disappointed in the quality of this product. Shame on you ZURU toys ... show more

    • Very good idea toy with cheap quality
My kid and I love their movement. It looks real snake. But quality looks cheap. It was broken just 1 day. Anyway amazon accept refund and I bought another Zuru robo lizard. So far so good now.

    • Christmas favorite!
Purchased for our 7yr old Autistic son for Christmas. He likes snakes and this was a great gift option. Easily one of his favorite gifts from the holiday. It’s just the right amount of surprise and predictability in its movement and function that it’s fun for him without stress.

Bought this for a Christmas present and my son loves it! It is as described and it is good quality! Only thing is that it does come apart semi easily where you put the batteries in.
