This lamp is a beautiful shape with stunning colors. It really sets off our entry way. Due to ceiling height I had an electrician hang it. He said the threaded chain link made for a particularly easy installation.

Reviews are pretty spot on. The lamp is very solid and the colors attractive. The small, round marbles at the top of the shade were much more pink than shows in the photos online. It comes with 12 feet of electric cord and 6 feet of chain which is perfect for hanging it wherever you’d like around the electric source. It took us about 45 minutes to hang it. This lamp was exactly as advertised. It’s truly beautiful. Words to the wise: Peacocks are BLUE and GREEN. If you are unhappy about the green in the light, perhaps you don’t truly know what peacocks look like? I have a mostly “based n blue” theme in my home & it’s a lovely addition. <3

As a retired electrical contractor, I could be a little more critical about a light fixture than others might be. This fixture was very well designed and built. It accepts "A" base lamps, a big plus, which allows more choices in lamps for the end user. Fixture was easy to install due quality construction, and to the provision of two threaded style chain links, made no difference to me, but for the homeowner a big benefit in ease of installation. I really love this late fixture. I just wish it was more like the color depicted. This picture is with bright white bulbs and when I had soft white in it it was much darker greens. I’m going to keep it because it is beautiful and I love in Alaska so returns are a pain. I hate it when it’s different than what it looks like on Amazon.
