  • From Zero to Hero!
Color: Black
The first time I unboxed and tried this tuner I was bummed. Not only did it not tune my guitar but it seemed to kinda get lost and just stop when a string was obviously out of tune. My knee jerk reaction was to just put it back into the box and return it - I'm glad I didn't. I downloaded the phone app - charged the tuner, entered three of my guitars into the settings, strat a 1/2 step low, a telecaster with standard tuning and a ratrod with open G. Tuned them all flawlessly! I've been using it consistently since and it had been amazing! If you have multiple guitars and play in different tunings this thing is a must-have. It has a TON of instrument presets like banjo, lapsteel, classical, ukulele and it looks like you can add your own so if you play cigarbox, there ya go. Spendy, but worth it - for me anyway. ... show more

  • The Roadie 4 does it all.
Color: Black
I've had a Roadie 3, (I believe) 2 of them actually, for a number of years. Very satisfied with them but they are delicate, 1 no longer works for some reason. This Roadie 4 is a lot more durable and still reasonably priced. I've been experimenting with open tunings and the R4 is great. Plus I bought a mandolin recently (that I've never played before) and low & behold, the R4 tunes that as well. I have 6 guitars and now a mandolin, and the R4 does the job and then some. And surprisingly, extremely easy to use. My tuning on various Guitars consist of Standard, Drop D, Open G, Nashville, and Standard Mandolin, and the R4 has these all preset. Just pick a tuning, name a guitar, and save it. It's that simple. ... show more

  • Great Unit.
Color: Black
Works pretty good on all of my guitars. Love you can make your own tunes, and does well with the 12 string. New firmware that auto selects the string was welcome, and they delivered as they said.

  • I spent at least 3 hours trying to get this to work.
Color: Case Bundle
I received this on time, but it doesn't work properly. The auto detect doesn't recognize the strings properly. The low E and A strings aren't recognized at all and the tuner doesn't do anything. I plucked the strings for two minutes multiple times with no response from Roadie 4. I used it on three acoustic guitars with the exact same results. This happens in Auto detect mode and standard tuning mode. I reached out to customer service which was no help at all as they wouldn't answer my question on whether I should return the item from Amazon and buy directly from them or will there be a update that would fix the problem. I have had 3 replies, one asking for proof of purchase and the next one said it couldn't find the number I gave them off the box. The second email 12 hours later asked for my phone number but nothing else was addressed. I then sent two pictures of the box and one screen shot of my Amazon receipt. This morning I got an email saying they were sorry I wasn't satisfied and closed the case. I immediately got another email wanting me to review my experience with customer support. I have been using the Roadie 3 for about 3 months prior to purchasing the Roadie 4. I had great expectations but unfortunately I had to return the item. I don't know that I will buy another product from Roadie because of my experience. Thankfully I bought it from Amazon as I don't believe Roadie stands by their products. Here is my last response from them, the one before the requested survey. Thanks for your prompt response. • Well Worth Buying
Color: Black
I just got this tuner yesterday, 3/14/26. I am very impressed with how it works. I was skeptical on spending that much money but it'll make tuning and changing strings on all of my stringed instruments worth it.

  • Seems to be a good tuning tool larger string instructments.
Color: Black
Roadie 4, purchased for a gift, arrived in a very acceptable time period. With the Quick Start Info and just a few minutes of use, I thought the Roadie very easy to use as a tuning device for Ukuleles and Banjoleles. However, the gift's recipient did not care to use the Roadie. With that reaction, I could not justify the item's cost and requested a refund. ... show more
