The use for this is most best when in a quiet room for tuning but unfortunately not in a loud room. It has to pick up the sound of the string being plucked so muting is needed for the other string for optimal sense of tune. The other great things it has; metronome functions and when ever you need to replace or tune up a fresh string, the string winding is golden for those that hate to continue winding with the hand and wrist which leads to fatigue. Battery life is great. Easy to use.

Oh My gosh, when my tuner arrived, I was so blown away at just unboxing that it that it made me feel like I did when I got my latest, I phone. The elegance of the box and the way the tuner fits into the packaging is very satisfying to open. I seriously hate changing strings (who doesn’t) and it did all the work for me. The fit and finish of the tuner is perfect, it’s easy to use, its great at its job and the screen is very bright and clear. And, there are multiple tuning options for all of the stringed instruments that you own. Side note: I emailed Enya’s customer service recently; I had some questions about one of the products that I had bought. Not only were they super pleasant to deal with, but they are very thorough, quick, and diligent to ensure that I was 100% satisfied in the end. I have not had customer service like that in probably 30 years. So, no worries about their customer service. If you haven’t seen my other Enya Music reviews on Amazon, please give them a read because I give my in-depth thoughts on their products and what to expect. I Love my tuner, now, I must go to see what other Enya Products I can own lol.

Enya Smart Automatic Tuner The first time I used this, I said, "Wow!" Really impressive technology. I've never seen anything like this before! When in "AUTO" mode, all you'll have to do is put the tuning prong onto any string's tuning peg, and pluck that string. This Smart Auto Tuner will wind the string for you, and it will signal with a 'beep' when the string is in tune! That's what I call "Automatic"! (After doing that, I actually cross-checked it with an 'old' tuning device, and this was spot on!). It also has a mode for "Alternate Tuning, but I haven't checked that mode yet, as I just have my guitars in Standard Tuning. It comes with : the Smart Automatic Tuner, a cover to protect the prong, a USB charging cable, and an Instruction booklet. A keeper for sure. I think this is very cool, and so do all my friends that I've shown this to! I have several guitars (electric, classical, acoustic) and they usually stray out of tune when they sit around not being played, so I will be using this quite often!

Limited tunings, not very accurate. I like it for string changes, but it's worthless for tuning.

Very quick and accurate I kept checking with another tuner on the nose Everytime I have a lot of guitars so it helps me tune them all when I do my quarterly maintenance.

The media could not be loaded. I you have to hold the top button down for ON and OFF. I’ve decided to keep mine since it does work but I’m NOT sure when it stops if it’s in the right key/pitch for that string. It may have been my fault that it broke a string since I may have turned past correct key/pitch. ITS A GREAT GADGET TO SAVE TIME AND NECK PAIN. I’m keeping it but I’ll keep in mind when the string is tight enough to use my tuner and finish tuning by hand as you can see on my video. Mixed feelings but good product.

The media could not be loaded. This is a cheaper version of the Roadie 3, but when it works it works pretty well. Just as fast as a real Roadie. It doesn't have all the alternate tuning memory and specific guitar presets of the Roadie, but it's a fraction of the price. You need to decide if you need those features. If you don't, save some money and get this one UNLESS you have guitars that have tulip style tuning keys (usually on Kluson tuners) because this won't fit. I tried using the auto tuner on 3 guitars with Kluson tulip style keys (2 Gibsons and a PRS acoustic) and it just will not fit and they only include one size head. One other issue I had was that it worked fine on some strings and on others it wasn't powerful enough to turn the tuning peg. This was on two Fender Acoustasonics. But there's good news. I reached out to Enya twice and did hear back. They sent me a new one and the motor on this one has enough power to turn all the tuning keys. Good customer service, but not sure why the power is inconsistent. Roadie 3 definitely has more power and fits tulip size heads. I think it may have come with two sizes to attach in order to best match your tuning keys. At the end of the day, I'm keeping this one because it works and the price is right.
