I doubted this would work that well. I was wrong! This thing is excellent, even when other musicians are playing through amps, I guess it works off the vibrations coming through the neck. Tried it on a bass, didn't work so great, and if your keys are tight you might have a problem, but my Stratocaster keys aren't tight and I haven't had issues. Takes all the guess work out of it. Literally once you hear that beep, you're ready to start playing.

the manual says I can tune my 5th string to A, but no A is available under the alternative tuning mode for that string, same goes for no D on the 4th string making one of the most popular alt tunings, DADF#AD not possible to tune. How is THAT possible. Since that is my main tuning, this tool is useless to me.
