Received this stand the other day and it is just amazing- especially for the price. Everything is well made with easy controls and excellent quality. It is all heavy metal with no plastic and clear concise instruction. I love that it is sturdy and has the great option of setting up on a table. This great for travel, even without the stand. I can see this music standing lying for a lifetime. CAHAY thought of everything for the set up. Lights are light but bright and perfect for a low light room. It also comes with a carrying case for travel. I do al lot of international travel and this will be my music companion along with my instruments.

I'm a professional musician. I have a large collection of music stands - mostly Manhassets. I have some wire stands, but they are completely useless - any of them - even the hard-to-fold German made ones. I like a solid back so that it supports writing on the music, if they are individual sheets - plus good for ipad/Forscore use. I have a Peak music stand that got crushed in its own bag within the first month of owning it. Peaks have a plastic desk top - which is why I suppose they offer replacement desks. This Cahaya stand has a metal desk, and the stand itself, plus the screws that hold it in place seem to be sturdy. For anyone who plays guitar (I don't), the stand does lower quite a bit. The desk itself is small, but will hold a 3-ring binder. It's also fairly deep - but not as deep as a Manhasset. The desk top thing that comes with it is really handy. The "book" for sheet music is terrible and a waste of money for the manufacturer. It doesn't close, and is cheaply made. The "clip" which looks like a giant hair clip- also wouldn't be useful (I use clothes pins, myself : ). The light is nice and bright with 3-settings. This was the one item that made me decide to get this particular package instead of the other one without the light. For $5 more, the light is worth it. It's quite bright. The only down side is that the USB cable does NOT charge it. The USB cable needs to be used with a converter cube (which should be supplied instead of the useless book and clip). The lights alternatively can be powered by 3 double A batteries. Would be much, MUCH better if the company supplied a rechargeable light via USB. The company also said that using rechargeable batteries won't help re: the USB as the USB does not communicate with any battery inserted. For $39 you get a decent stand, a cheap bag, and a decent light. Not too bad.

Sturdy yet lightweight, easy to put together and transport in the included bag. No more lugging around a heavy stand knocking into everything as I walk through people and chairs to set up for outdoor concerts. Well made.

This kit and bag are very convenient for travel. The adapter for desk or floor standing is useful though it doesn't keep the stand flat, not a big problem. You may have to use one of the permanently attached music holding arms to stabilize it. The stand can also be setup fairly low and inconspicuously if needed. The included stand light has three brightness settings though the buttons are covered with a rubber cover and one switch became intermittent after just two uses.

This stand is very sturdy and just what I needed. The light has to be plugged in with the USB cord, it is not a rechargeable. If you want to use the light cordless, you will need standard batteries (3 x AAA)

Okay so I got this for ex-husband best friend and roommates birthday and he love loved it I bought him one 20 years ago that he was still using but it was weak and no longer held together at the screws that adjust it. I knew it wasn't going to last it was cheap back then and it stayed cheap throughout but it was not solid like this up where you put your books and this thing rocks everything about this thing rocks and everything that come with it was a bonus I absolutely love it and I'm glad he loves it and I love it as much as he loves it and I love it because he loves it he's just that kind of person extremely lovable except when you're married haha anyway back to this here it was quick shipping it arrived perfectly no damage whatsoever made exactly as described maybe better maybe better than described that's for sure and all the bonuses can't get no better than that yes I would purchase again if I had to or if he just wanted a second one and I would definitely recommend it the price you cannot beat it nowhere else not one penny not one penny I can't say enough good about this unless I just repeat what I've already said and I could do that too there was only one thing missing cable ties as you see in the picture I've attached doesn't make it a bad thing because we didn't know it was missing in the first place until we checked the contents and had to look up what they were for they are absolutely useful but they're sold in 50 packets for just a couple of dollars so it's not a huge thing that they're gone but if you see this and you want to send them to us wouldn't mind having your branded table ties with our set

This is a great music stand, so much so I own two of them. It's sturdy to hold both notebooks or in a flat position a laptop computer. I'm a drummer for a long time, but I like to look at rudiments and other drumming exercises to warmup before playing. then on another note, I'm fulfilling a long time desire to learn the bass guitar. I use the stand to hole my laptop while following the sessions I'm following, without a problem. It's solid and sturdy for whatever your music needs may be.

Ordered 2 and one arrived with the light missing. Amazon won’t let me just get the new light sent, but we need the stand now. Giant mess and not worth it. The other one was fine. (Outer box with both was fine, but the product box for one was damaged / clearly a return).
