In the world of music, rhythm is the pulse of the soul, and precise timing is the pursuit of every musician. Press and hold button On/Off for 2 seconds to turn on the power of metronome. Press button On/Off to start or pause metronome. When metronome started, the indicator flashes and the sound from speaker. Red color for beat accent, and green color for others. Change metronome volume level. Turn the volume wheel to turn up or down the volume of beat and/or human voice counting volume. Press the button and hold for 2 seconds to turn On woman voice counting. Another press and hold to turn Off. Press continuously to choose a different click sound timbre. 3 timbres options. It is a stereo output jack. If using a stereo earphone, both sides are a same sound. Press to change beat out of 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. No accent or human voice counting for beat 0. The factory preset beat is 4. Press the Rhythm button to pick a rhythm out of 9 different time values to practise Turn the knob clockwise to increase the tempo, and turn counter clockwise to decrease the tempo. Tempo ranges from 40bpm to 208bpm. The factory preset tempo is 120bpm. Tap the button continuously to set your own tempo. Each 2 presses set a tempo. Press and hold the button to turn ON timer function. And then press continuously to choose timer time length of 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 60 minutes. Digital metronome is powered by chargeable Li battery inside.Your device can be charged from any 5V USB power source. Power On status: The battery indicator flashes incrementally, and the battery indicator is full when it is fully charged. Power Off state: The battery indicator flashes incrementally, and the LED indicator light flashes at the same time. When the battery is fully charged, the battery indicator and the LED light are both solid On.

This is more than a simple metroome and every feature is useful. I am a drummer and was lookng for something to figure out the speed of recorded songs. While measuring the tempo of several songs I discovered that almost no recorded song keeps the identical speed throughout. Imagine that. The rhythm button helped. I didn't expect to be able to take advantage of this feature, however it made it easier to figure out more complex parts. Love love love this little metronome

I am a budding shuffle dancer, and the audible beats make a HUGE difference in my practice time. This metronome was recommended by our instructor. It's sturdy and very versatile with a BPM all the down to 40. :-) Plus you can advance/decrease the bmp in one beat increments; a great feature. You can mute it if you just want the visual display. The bmp is controlled with a wheel on the face that can be moved easily with a finger. I also use it to match the bpm of some songs I am using that don't have bpm data. VERY HELPFUL! It has a nifty stand to stand it up so I can see the beats. You can set the counts timing too. I mostly use and 8 counts. It gives off a ping at the top of the count so I know when to start. It comes with cords and adapters for charging the battery. I use the USB. The battery charges quickly. It's light and small and easy to take in my dance bag and in my backpack when travelling. It was well packaged, arrived on time with no damage. Don't let its low-price fool you, it is a great buy! highly recommend this metronome. ... show more

No accents = 300+ BPM. Yes!

This does have accents, but I got it cause I didn’t want accents, which a lot of metronomes don’t have the option to play to a click without accents. Just set it to 0 beats and you’re good. Wanna go past 208? Hit that rhythm button to 8th notes, keep it at 0 beats, and now you can go up to 416 BPM (only with no accents; if you want accents, then yes, max speed is 208). Wanna play at 624 for some reason? Set it to triplets. Feeling extra obnoxious? 832 BPM. Set it to 16th notes for some gravity blasts! Was always using my phone, but app was always draining battery. Could never use with battery saver cause screen would shut after 30 seconds. Then the lag to restart the app. This is great so I don’t have to use my phone so much anymore. Shuts off after 3 minutes of idleness, which is great cause when you just gotta stop and focus on a particular thing and don’t wanna turn it off but then end up not using it again for a while, you won’t be killing the battery. Volume louder than iphone. Comes with USB C cable. I do recommend getting a longer cable. 6 feet is my preferred choice. You can have it charging and use it at the same time. I don’t know when it reaches full charge. But if you charge for an hour, and you play for 4 hours a day, the charge will last you all week, and even longer. The only feature I’d want is a clock on this. There is a timer for 15, 30, 45, 60 minutes. But having an actual clock on this would be great! No worries though. Great simple metronome. Excellent with one caveat: the Tap tempo function I’d consider to be unreliable. At least on my copy, it’s all over the place as I tap the tempo in. For comparison, the metronome app on my phone latches on in about 3 taps and is accurate. Otherwise a great metronome. Love that it’s rechargeable, has a kickstand, a big dial that’s way more tactile than a fiddly touch screen and feels durable, and even the annoying voice counting along as an option helps my younger students find the 1, etc. If I bought it again, I would just test the Tap tempo function immediately and return it if I got the same results. Great Tool for Piano Playing

Superb!

Works beautifully and accurately. There are a bunch of settings to customize it for your own playing habits, but it's not complicated to set up initially - it works right out of the box. If you have preferences, you can choose to set them up later on once you start using it. There are a bunch of volume settings, and a bunch of other beat settings that you can adjust which have been helpful. I only realized later on that this is perfect to keep in my case because it's the best of both - it can stand with the protruding piece, but it's also portable because it folds flat and is lightweight! No comment on durability, but I've been enjoying this for a little while. Recommended 100%! ... show more

I love this thing

First the cons: I almost considered 4 stars because I don't love the tone... but the tone sucks in all digital metronomes so I can't hold back a star for that. This device has an oddity that many cheap devices have... not every USB cable will charge it. The high quality cable I use to charge my phone doesn't charge it. But a low-quality 6 inch cable that came for free with some device does fine with it. Pros: The battery life is insanely good. I've owned this for maybe 2 years?? and charged it maybe 5 times? Or less? I dig the kickstand. I always have it on my desk right in front of me. From there, it is just easy to use, does the job, easily choose beats per measure or no accent, various rhythms. Tap tempo. It is kid proof. My 3 year old loves to play with it and mess with the settings... if he didn't break it yet that is a good sign. ... show more
