  • Everything I hoped it would be & more
Color: ProBeat
I love this metronome. You can pick how many bears in a measure & the speed. The down beat has a different sound & it will even count the beats for you. This is very helpful when trying to practice something you don't know what the other parts sound like. Definitely worth the money.

  • Does everything you need, just not very loud
Color: ProBeat
This is a metronome and it does what it needs to do. It’s not as loud as I hoped so for electric guitar I end up turning things way down to hear it. It’s fine for playing acoustic or unplugged.

  • Exactly what I needed
Color: ProBeat
Small enough to take with me in my cross trek oblong violin case. Features are helpful. Light flashing is good for noisy places. Counting voice helps make sure I don’t skip or add a beat when reading music. Adjustable count is great for different time signatures. Recharging with a cable means I don’t need batteries - a plus for me. I’m sure I could go on. You get the idea. It’s great. ... show more

  • Solid metronome but not great for advanced players
Color: ProBeat
This metronome works like you'd expect. It has some options for different beats and time signatures. It has voice option. I'm knocking it a star because the lowest tempo is (40 BPM) meaning you can't really test your internal clock with slower tempos.

  • It ssems to work well.
Color: ProBeat
I am 78 years old and decided I wanted to learn how to play piano. All of my research said I needed to get a metronome to keep my beat. So, I got this one. It seems easy to use. I like that I can set it up for different times and the volume is adjustable. It forces me to stay on track. I like it.

  • Functional but some design oversights in my opinion
Color: ProBeat
As a piano instructor, I use a metronome several times a day. This metronome's on/off switch is a button that you have to HOLD DOWN for several seconds, which is incredibly annoying, to the point where I'm probably just going to get a different metronome. I want something I can get ticking like one or two seconds after I pick it up. Also, if I want to change the tempo from something like 80 to 180, I have to turn the knob 80 bajillion times to get there. Just takes too long to adjust the tempo if you're adjusting by more than like 30 or 40bpm. I realize not everyone is a teacher with my level of urgency. But why make ANY device, whether a computer, beard trimmer, metronome, or TV - that requires a user to hold down a button for 1 or 2 seconds just to turn it on/off? I think they wanted to make it so the start/stop button was also the same as the on/off button, but I think that's just lame. Just have two buttons, sheesh. ... show more

  • Great metronome
Color: ProBeat
Has all the features of a (free) phone app and more, without tempting my child to get lost in a phone.

  • Best metronome for volume control
Color: ProBeat
The other metronomes are so feeble in volume compared to this one. Would highly recommend.
