I made sure that it would fit my car with the tool provided and it still didn't fit my car top. There was also no instructions so I tried looking up videos on you tube. I found a video with just about the same equipment but still had to piece together a few things.

I almost returned this set. It has NO instructions and the first attempt at installation resulted in a lost non-fitting device. On a whim I tried once more using the second set of attachments and the front bar held. Then I went ahead and installed the back bar and discovered the aluminum fitting for the inside mount. This removed one very serious point of weakness as it spreads momentum across a broader set of plastic. I carried a couple of 16' logs yesterday as well as a table. Still, I had to tighten the bar all the way and then then locks would not lock ( too much pressure bent the bar itself just slightly ). So I unwound a couple of rotations, the lock worked and the bar was still stable. This works and it is 1/5th the price of a Thule which does not even exist for this vehicle. ... show more

    • Difficult to figure out, doesn’t fit Acura MDX
I ordered this in mid-May and tried to attach it to my Acura MDX. I was not able to figure out the components, as the rack does not come with any instructions. I since have been looking for instructions or an instructional video online, all I found was a 23 second clip of the last part of the installation. After consulting professionals, this rack does not fit my vehicle (even though Amazon said that it would, and the measurements were right, Accor to this item info). I am now outside of my return window, and I am wondering if Amazon would allow me to return it for a different rack. ... show more

Hello all im writing this to let people know that I ordered this for my 2014 chevy cruze. Unfortunately it does Not fit. It was about 2 inchs to big on each side. And no matter what I did it woukd not tighten up enough to grab. This product calls to fit on a 2014 cruze but does not. Thank you

I bought these in December 2021 and I finally had some time to install these nice rack on my car. Assembling is easy. I had a problem installing them as they are too wide for my car. I'm sad now.

They fit snug and have worked out just fine. Maybe should have been about an inch and .3 shorter for my Camry but we loaded our paddleboards and off we went. A much better cost than the two major brands that some purchase.
