I installed this unit on my 2021 Toyota RAV4 XLE. Installation was straight forward but I got more help from external YouTube videos as the instructions are kind of all over the place. There were some issues with setting up the microphone as well as assigning buttons on the steering wheel to perform certain functions. However, an email over to customer service and they provided a clear and concise route to fix my issue. Overall I am happy. Sound quality is good after messing with the mixer inside the unit. I use Apple CarPlay and have no issues with the wireless function. I do wish this unit supported wired CarPlay as it did with android. I like the wired connection for a more responsive experience since wireless CarPlay does lag. Overall worth the buy and happy about it. 10x better than the OEM unit. ... show more

Instructions were okay, screen lags when I use android auto (whole reason why I got it) and my music skips when I'm using android auto Camera quality is horrible as well. Nothing good about this infotainment honestly. I would go with a different one or hope that they update it and learn from it

    • Android auto beta caused my issues
This stero was giving me problems with Android auto disconnecting and reconnecting but the problem was my fault. I was a beta tester for Android auto and as soon as I changed back to non beta I have not had a disconnect . I love this stero and highly recommend it

Huge improvement over the small screen my Rav came with. With the right video walk-through, it's fairly easy to install. Backup camera and steering wheel volume works. The only down side I noticed is the built-in mic sucks while your driving. You can hear just fine but the other person can't hear anything. FYI, you cannot be using Wi-Fi for watching YouTube or other video apps and use CarPlay / Android Auto. That's just how every system works.
