I do my own oil change on my 2024 Camry V-6. I put ramps under the front tires. The jack point is in front of the engine and center of the car on a heavy cross member. My old jack barely went under the front of the car and wouldn’t raise the wheels high enough to get the ramps under them. I had to use wood blocks and jack the car up and down which was nerve wracking. This new jack goes under the front of the car and raises the it all the way up so the ramps go under the wheels. I have an old Chevy truck, and a late model lifted Jeep. I used to get by using a 4" oak cube with a more conventional floor jack to get more lift. That worked okay, but this jack works much better, and it's safer. I've had more than one oak cube crack on me. This jack is pretty versatile in practice. I can get it down low to lift from a shock tower skid plate, or I can get it up high to lift by the frame. I've done a variety of projects, and used the jack several different ways. It doesn't get five stars, because it has some flaws. The little rubber pads are always falling out and playing hide and seek. Whichever lifting pad I'm not using tends to fall out when I roll the thing to its destination. The capacity of the jack varies dramatically depending on how you configure it, and I can't remember whether it has more lifting power in low profile or high profile mode. I would have to go look that up to find the answer. I've used the thing for months, and that detail isn't obvious or intuitive to me. Still, it has been a good value for the money, it looks cool, and it's pretty easy to reconfigure as necessary. When it eventually blows out, I will almost certainly buy another one just like it. ... show more

Phenomenal build quality, easy operating, and huge range of motion. This is absolutely a buy-once-cry once tool that will last decades. The sort of jack you pass down to your kids like that parrot your mother left you in her will that just wont die... except this wont make funny noises 3am and mock you for talking to yourself. The one down side is the handle pulls out when you try and pull by it, so you have to move it by pushing only but you could easily weld it together or work around it. ... show more

The first day we tried to use it, it would lift & ease back down. It didn't want to hold pressure. My husband had to turn the handle as hard as he could & try 2 or 3 times each & every time we had to lift one side of the vehicle we were working in. Somehow we finally got all 4 rotors, calipers & brake pads replaced. The 2nd time it was used, it still kept releasing pressure. This is great for giving enough clearance to get under my van to work. I didn’t realize how heavy it would be - shipping weight was 102lbs! I usually, on purchases like this, like to wait awhile for reviewing something. As anything can seem great when you first get it. So, fast forward to a few months later. I've used this jack probably a hundred times. It was super easy to setup, you just bleed the air out like the instructions tell you to. It works phenomenally. It does not pump all the way up in like 3 pumps or anything crazy, but it takes much less pumping than other jacks. It lifts my 4500lb Ford Edge and my 3200lb Eagle Talon effortlessly, as well as nice and stably. I've drug it on uneven, rocky concrete, through grass and shubbery, and all kinds of torture testing you can imagine with no issues. So, take it from a DSMer(meaning I use jacks and jackstands way more than any other car guy, Lol) when I say this jack is great. Very happy with it! ... show more
