Very solid and easy to put together. It was a lot of pieces, but very easy to put together. Most of the pieces were the slats that just slide in. It does slide around easy on the floor, so I put some non slide tape on the bottom of the legs and it worked great. Lots of room underneath to store things.

I just received the platform kit yesterday. I actually decided to read the instructions last night but there was nothing to read as the directions were basically drawings (strike one). I assembled the platform today. It was a very easy task as I used my own tools. The provided Allen wrench and "box wrench" were too small for my liking so I utilized a longer Allen and a 13mm socket. All of the holes lines up perfectly and the bolts and nuts were perfect. I have yet to sleep on it or do anything else for that matter so time will tell. If there are any issues I will post them but so far this product gets a 5 star based upon the construction and quality of materials.

When setting it up it looked as low as the platform bed I was replacing. It didn't look like it was 18 inches from the floor and I havent measured yet. I have a very thick memory foam mattress so I wasn't too worried. Once I put the mattress on the height seemed good enough. The frame is sturdy and is quiet. I would have preferred a bronze color but the black will have to do. The one thing I would really like to change would be the height of the headboard. The picture makes it look like it's taller than it really is. Too low for me.

I liked the height of this product and the sturdiness. It also had rounded leg edges which we couldn't find on other frames. Unfortunately we had to send it back because it came with 2 legs that were identical. There wasn't a right and left. Only 2 right. We had a replacement sent thinking it was just a mistake in packaging, but the next one was the same. Had to send that one back as well. There was also a long wait for delivery which meant our mattress was on the floor for a longer period than expected.
