**Note: I do not use RK's software or use the backlight features. I have no need for any of this and the keyboard works great for my use case. Previously, my main keyboard was the purple M75 with silver switches. It does everything I need including having the right keys in the right places. It worked great but I really wanted a more neutral colored keyboard. I was going to replace the keycaps on my purple one but it would have looked silly because the bottom half of the case is purple and the knob on the keyboard is purple. Enter the next iteration of this keyboard: green with viridian switches. For starters, there are distinct differences between the green and purple versions of the M75. The keycaps are completely different--they feel more premium on the green board and produce a MUCH more pleasant/muted thock sound on keypress compared to the pingy/loud noises of the purple M75. The green version's keycaps also have a very nice matte texture compared to the purple's more slick/shiny keycaps. Additionally, compared to the purple's keycaps, the green's keycaps have a bigger/bolder/better font which is positioned much more aesthetically on the face of the keycaps. I found the viridian switches to be leaps and bounds better than the silver switches in terms of typing accuracy and general feel. PROS: - Wired, Bluetooth, and 2.4ghz dongle - Knob for easily swapping between connection modes (click knob in, twist knob to select mode, click again) - Knob also controls volume (twist knob) - Mostly white body with white knob - good for using as a base for custom keycaps - Solid construction, feels hefty/dense - LCD screen doesn't look gimmicky/cheap - Bright backlights - USB pass-through - Battery - Keycaps and viridian switches are amazing - No modding needed CONS: - Small portion of the bottom of the case is green but it isn't seen from the side profile - Function key functions are printed on the front side of keycaps which is very useful but also detracts from a more minimal/clean aesthetic - RGB options might be limited/lackluster for some if you care about such things -- I found them adequate

I absolutely love this keyboard! I decided to go with a light green color option instead of the hyped purple variant, and that decision worth every dollar spent extra. I also went with Viridian liner switches since this is my first mechanical keyboard. The tactile feedback and satisfying key presses enhanced my typing experience so much, making it more efficient and enjoyable, and I really like that keys are quite silent and “thocky” at the same time. Overall, fantastic purchase + absolutely new typing experience.

The media could not be loaded. The keyboard is exactly shown in the product description on Amazon listing. Very clean and nice looking. I absolutely love the green colors and the backlit behind the key caps! All the features are working as they promoted it. I was low-key worried about spending the money cause I've never bought nice keyboards before. But this one really impressed me!! I love how easily you can switch connection modes. The keyboard sound is also very soothing. 10/10 recommend!

I really like the keyboard initially. The overall physical build is very good - case, key cap and colors. It is quiet and the sound quality that is mellow. Keycaps are good with clear legends. It has slot for keeping 2.4 wireless dongle that is also very good for storage for such small item. The small display is nice for simple viewing current status - "Win" / "Mac", connection type (USB, 2.4, BTs) and battery level. However, it does not last. For less than a year some segments are now dim. The most important one is batter level which nearly illegible to read. I really like to have at least this feature when you use it in wireless connection mode so that you plan to charge it before it completely drains. Note: Connectivity wise, there are many choices to make. For some reason, I ran into issue with wired connection with Mac but not with Window mode. It works fine with 2.4 dongle but switch to wired, Mac does not see it. This is could be other unrelated issue than the keyboard itself. I have other keyboard that does not have the issue, however.

This is my second Royal Kludge keyboard and they are honestly excellent value for a budget mechanical keyboard. Packaging feels fairly premium, comes with usb cable that has an adapter on one end to swap. Between type a and type c ports, along with a few extra switches and a keycap puller. Product feels much more premium than the price you pay. My first rk keyboard is like 6 years old now with zero issues, don't anticipate any issues with this one either. The perfect keyboard if you want to dip your toes into the water of smaller form factor mechanical keyboards or just want something a very solid step above your budget flimsy wireless keyboards without paying an arm and a leg. There are certainly better keyboards out there but in my opinion you're hard pressed to find better value for the dollar than RK
