  • Versatile and Well-Designed Power Ratchet for Light to Medium Duty Tasks
Style: Kit with Battery
This power ratchet tool exceeded my expectations in both design and performance. It features interchangeable 3/8" and 1/2" anvils, which are extremely easy to swap, adding flexibility for different tasks. The length of the ratchet is ideal for working in tight spaces, such small cars engine compartment. Included in the package is a 1.7Ah Power Stack battery—a first for me—and a 4 AMP output charger, which ensures quick and efficient charging. The forward/reverse switch is intuitively placed for easy access, and the trigger lock is a thoughtful addition to prevent accidental activation during storage or transport. One of the most impressive features is its ability to function as a manual ratchet, allowing me to loosen bolts that the motor alone couldn’t handle. The torque output is more than satisfactory for light to medium duty applications. In practice, I used this tool to remove two eleven-year-old Zero Turn idler pulleys with failed bearings. The first pulley had a self-locking nut, which the ratchet removed effortlessly. The second required manual loosening followed by motorized removal—again, the tool performed flawlessly. It provided excellent clearance and eliminated the need for a breaker bar, saving time and physical effort. Overall, this is a well-engineered, reliable tool that’s perfect for professionals and DIYers alike. Highly recommended for anyone needing a compact, versatile ratchet for everyday mechanical tasks. ... show more

  • Great tool
Style: Kit with Battery
Has 3/8" and 1/2" anvils that are supper easy to change out. Length of ratchet is just right for a 42" Zero Turn mower deck. It comes with one 1.7Ah Power Stack battery (a first for me) and a 4 AMP output charger. Location of the forward/reverse switch is great. Trigger lock is good for preventing anything from depressing it when not in use. Power tool can be used as a manual ratchet to loosen a tight bolt that the motor can't loosen on its own. Torque is satisfactory for this light to medium duty tool. Ratchet was used to remove two eleven year old Zero Turn tensioner pulleys with bad bearings from the deck. First pulley had a self locking nut and this tool loosened it and removed it without any trouble. The second pulley had a bolt that fastens to the deck. I used the tool as a manual ratchet to loosen the bolt and used the motor to drive it on out. Tool provided good clearance and kept me from having to use a breaker bar and manual labor to do the job. Will use this on automotive repairs and assembly tasks that do not require the torque and power of the heavy duty 1/2" cordless impact ratchet. 10-29-2024 Just used this nice ratchet to mount an ECHOGEAR TV wall mount for my mom. Had no trouble driving 2 inch lag bolts into the stud. Its profile got to the lag bolts when my 1/4" impact driver could not get enough clearance to drive them. 12-27-25 Used the ratchet to replace both lawn mower deck spindles. It also was used to tighten the nut above the spindle pulleys. 1-24-26 The DCF500 12 volt 1/4" and 3/8" ratchet is another nice tool that includes a 1/4" quick change hex. I bought this bare tool on ACME Tools website for a cheaper price. ... show more

  • The “One Tool to Rule Tight Spaces”
Style: Kit with Battery
This DEWALT DCF510GE1 kit (with the swappable 3/8” and 1/2” sealed head anvils, POWERSTACK battery, and charger) is a game-changer for anyone wrenching in cramped spots—under dashes, engine bays, or suspension work. 75 ft-lbs of torque might not sound insane, but it breaks loose stubborn bolts way better than you’d expect from something this compact. Pros: • Genius interchangeable heads — Swap between 3/8” and 1/2” in seconds; no need for two separate ratchets • Sealed head design — Keeps dust, water, and grime out; perfect for messy jobs or outdoor use • Brushless power + variable speed — Smooth 0-300 RPM control, LED light, and enough grunt to handle most automotive fasteners without stripping • POWERSTACK battery included — Compact but punches hard, fast charging, and great runtime (kit comes ready to go) • Ergonomic & durable — Glass-reinforced housing, comfortable grip, feels pro-grade without being too heavy Cons: • Torque tops out at 75 ft-lbs — Great for most stuff, but super-rusted big bolts might need an impact or breaker bar assist • A bit pricey upfront — You’re paying for the versatility and build quality (worth it if you use it often) • Head swap takes a second to get used to — Minor learning curve, but solid once locked in If you’re in the DEWALT 20V ecosystem and hate crawling into tight spots with manual ratchets, this set is pure magic. Saves time, skinned knuckles, and swearing. Absolute 5 stars—highly recommend! ... show more

  • Buy this. Don't question if you would use it, buy it.
Style: Kit with Battery
I bought into the Dewalt ecosystem a few decades ago and have stuck with the brand because they make good tools, and having one system for your entire cordless tool set is a handy feature. I have the drills, the hammer drills, oscillating saws, and sanders, and likely more that I'm forgetting, and they all work very well. I was watching a video to learn how to replace something in my kid's car when I saw the kid in the video was using one of these cordless ratchets. The old man in me went down the typical road of "dang kids. Why can't they use the old standard ratchets like the rest of us instead of using electric tools?!" Then I remembered having to take pain pills to make my hands feel better after working on the car the previous day, and ordered one. This was a moment when you want to kick yourself for being stubborn. This is just like a big ratchet but instead of having to move, you can just put it where you need it and click the trigger. It's fast, strong, and the charge lasts long enough for even big jobs. This one comes with the 3/8 and 1/2 inch socket, a battery, bag, and charger. For the price, you get a lot of tool that will likely become your favorite. Even if I had not invested in the ecosystem, this alone may have been enough to make me convert. It is literally my favorite tool. ... show more
