I needed a small rack for my internet equipment: router, switches, etc as I have "semi professional equipment" and not an "all in one" home internet solution. My only surprise was this rack will lean UP or tilt back. It is not level. I am using this as shelves and not a screw in rack as my equipment is "half rack" size. I had to put a 2x4 in the back for it to sit on to make it level for use as shelves so that the equipment would not slide off. For rack mount, I would guess a tilt would be the norm. I still like it very much although I thought the shelves etc were expensive.

Easy to put together and plenty sturdy. Only negative (very minor) is that it doesn't take standard rack screws - but the screws it needs are included, so not a big deal, just something to keep in mind if you need new ones in the future.

Rack was really easy to assemble came with instructions done in 5 to 10 min. My only complaint was that it stated that it didn't come with Screws for assembly and mounting .I bought them Separately, and then recieved them with in the kit . Kind of a waste of money to buy them only to find out get are included. But other than that there perfect 👌

The directions are terrible, bolts and nuts were missing, the anchors to attach the rubber legs are impossible to seat without breaking the cheap plastic screw. (see photo) Don't waste your money. There is no attention given to the user. Terrible company and product. AVOID!

I recently purchased a 2u rack mount mic preamp for an upcoming studio build. I have no other rack mount components I'm planning to use yet, so I don't really need a full blown rack. I almost got the 8u version to have more room to grow, but space is going to be tight. If I fill the rest of the 4u, I will revisit the idea. Assembly was very easy, although this relies on the nuts to make contact with the metal and dig in for tightening from only the bolt side. I didn't have great luck with this, I definitely recommend having a wrench or socket wrench handy (10mm I think it was?) to hold the nuts. All hardware was present, including rubber feet and push-in fasteners to attach them. Screws for attaching components were also included. There are no cage nuts. The rack itself has tapped holes, which may be a problem if you do a lot of swapping, but I had no issues installing my preamp. You could always add nuts on the back if threads started to strip out, or install threaded inserts. Assembled, this rack is rock solid. A perfect desktop solution, especially if you only have one or two components and need to save space!

Normally, all of my product reviews have a product 'Overview' section, a 'Positives' section, a 'Negatives' section and an 'In Conclusion' section where I either recommend a product or I advise not to buy. I am unable to review this product at that level as nothing was included to build this rack. I can say that the parts that were shipped seem strong and powder coated metal and the design looked to be promising if I could build it and install my 19 inch components for review. UPDATES TO THIS REVIEW: Since the original review, the vendor has reached out to me through Amazon and immediately corrected this issue. Now that I have assembly hardware, the Rating is updated and here is an in depth review after assembly and usage. Overview - This is an upright, "table top" server rack designed to house 19 inch wide audio / computer components. It is made of quality steel parts that are durable and powder coated black. The design has enough angle to lean backwards providing unit balance and ease of view to the installed components. Positives - Great materials used for the framework. - Assembly instructions are easy to read and actual assembly takes only minutes to build. - This model supports installing 19 inch wide components and matches the standard bracket holes on rack mounted components very well. Negatives - After the vendor corrected the original issue of missing hardware, the only negative I have so far is that the rubber screw on feet for the bottom of the rack were missing from the assembly hardware. In Conclusion - This vendor has some great server rack products and certainly a very attentive customer service. I still see a big opportunity for them to address by way of quality control. This rack is working well in my studio, but we will see with time and the addition of some more audio components how well it performs with the considerable added weight. I say give this product a try.
