Fits perfectly inside our fireplace and adds a delightful, cozy sense of warmth to the room. Very realistic looking flames. We don't use the heat feature, although we may in the future. It could warm up a room quickly. When we turned on the heat, it had an unpleasant smell which I assume is just the new parts reacting to the heat. That will likely dissipate over time, should we decide to use it for heat. The recorded "crackling" sound doesn't really sound authentic, probably because it's not a very fancy speaker, so we won't be using that feature at all. However, we couldn't be happier with the fit and the look - it's a great addition to the room and is visually very soothing for the frayed nerves of these crazy times.     • Merchandise was damaged.
When this was delivered, the box was damaged and so was the product. It would not start and the remote control was damaged.

I can’t express how we love this addition to our Great Room. This has been installed in our home in Arizona... not much of an area for a fireplace with heat. Before we received this fireplace, we had another manufacturer fireplace delivered. It didn’t function properly... it didn’t work at all. Returned it and ordered the e-flame. I am so happy we did. As you can see by the two pictures, it looks great off or on. I would recommend this fireplace to anyone who is looking for style and efficiency. ... show more

    • Shuts off even though we keep it free of dust
We’ve had it for a year in December. We are very careful to keep it dust free but over the last couple of weeks it has been shutting off when it’s very cold in the room. What is the problem?

Product was just too cheap looking for the price. There were NO fake logs just a picture of them. Ended up giving it away
