Love this bag. It's shorter than most 100lbs bags which end up way too low on a heavy bag stand. This one is just about perfect on my Everlast stand without any need to adjust. I bought it to replace an Everlast (lol) bag that lasted just one year before the nylon straps wore out and broke. The Ringside bag has reinforced nylon straps and better shaped steel rings. This was my first heavy bag purchased. I thought I did a decent amount of research for not knowing what I don't know about heavy bags. It seemed like good value, especially just after purchase. I was very excited to use it. PROS: * Easy to mount with the right carabiner. I picked it up and my wife put the bag ring mounts on the Caribiner. * The bag itself seems durable. No rips or scuffs after a year of using it 3-6 times per week. * Good looking aesthetic. OPPORTUNITIES FOR PRODUCT IMPROVEMENT: * Overtime, the bottom half of the bag turned into concrete with almost no cushion, and the top portion of the bag, especially where an athlete would throw a jab to the head, was deflated, as seen in the picture. As the bag stuffing is compressed cloth, I think the air between the cloth had worked itself out leaving the bottom half quite settled. This might be common with all bags, admittedly I don't know, but on this bag, I never looked forward to power body work because of how hard the bag was. I suppose I could have added my own stuffing to take care of this, but it's still a deficiency worth noting. * Zipper on top of the bag, which is where the cloth was inserted, started to break with constant tension and compression from punching, which caused cloth to work its way out. Not a major issue, but ever week or so I would unzip, push the cloth down, and then rezip. If that was the only issue, I wouldn't be writing a review, but might as well note it now. FAILURE * As you can see in the pictures above, one of the triangles mounting rings completely failed mid round. It looks like there was tensile failure in the segment between two of the corners, fatigue failure in one of the corners, and a good amount of necking and plastic deformation in the third corner, though this might be due to the corner bearing all of the weight of the bag as it failed elsewhere. Anyway, I would have expected more from these rings for the price I paid on the bag. Perhaps it was just a bad ring out of the tens of thousands they've used. ... show more

Used to going to my boxing gym to hit the bag but this thing has been a blessing to have during the pandemic. Material seems durable, worried about the stitching on the bag since it’s designed a bit differently from your typical bag but reviews seem like ringside makes the best bag. I hooked it up with rope since I don’t want to damage the d links or the metal hook I have on my ceiling and it also reduces noise significantly. ... show more
