The ring doorbell works well but you need your phone so that you know if someone is at your door. The ring chimes are a joke. Not loud enough. Would better to purchase a wireless doorbell instead.

Do not use a nickname when activating. You won't be able to access the account if there's an issue because you'll need to scan a government id. Tech support really tried but couldn't override it.

Good quality picture until fog or humid weather cause condensation. The camera lens fogs up and distorts the picture quality making it blurry. Have to clean the lens throughout the night when this happens to maintain clear camera vision. The battery is still being tested for longevity for a charge. So far, 1 week, still over 50%.
