The only thing I don't like about them is you really have to warm them up before using. They're not creamy so it doesn't go on smoothly and just flakes off the pencil in little chunks when you try to draw on your brow. A few minutes in the cleavage helps. The medium brown is a nice neutral color.

I loved this brow pencil but major store outlets have discontinued Rimmel products.I was so excited when i found it was available on Amazon. First pencil i received worked great the rest of the ones i purchased after were complete garbage. The inside crumbles when trying to sharpen. If your lucky enough to get a point , it crumbles when applying. By the time you finish trying to sharpen there is nothing left to it but a stub for 1 or 2 uses. I even purchased new sharpeners thinking my current one may be dull. Its not the sharpener, the pencils are complete garbage. Do not purchase you will be dissappointed ... show more

Honestly, I was shocked by how much I like this eyebrow pencil. I saw it reviewed by a beauty guru on YouTube and thought for the price it'd be harmless to test it out. And I LOVE it. It makes my sparse eyebrows actually look like eyebrows and doesn't look too waxy or fake. I had previously been using the NYX Professional Makeup Micro Brow Pencil in Ash Brown, and like this one (Rimmel Brow This Way Fibre Pencil in Medium Brown) much better. So much better, in fact, that I immediately ordered 2 more as back-ups. It doesn't have a spoolie, but I can overlook that because I feel like this particular formula works so well for me! ... show more

Would have been 5-star if sharpening were more efficient. One loses a LOT of pencil each time one sharpens--wasteful!--and as a victim of alopecia, I have to sharpen for every use. Unlike most folks who merely use a pencil to darken existing brows, I must try very carefully to get a natural look by actually drawing each individual hair. After several decades of having to do this, I am pretty good at it, but a sharper pencil would help!. Perhaps if Rimmel also offered a sharpener that sharpened without losing so much of both the marking pencil and the surrounding wood this would be less of a problem for people like me with alopecia, and for cancer victims as well. ... show more
