L'Oreal Paris Makeup Air Volume Mega Mascara is pretty darn amazing. Great brush, great formula. Takes a little while to dry, maybe 15 minutes, then lasts days. Great fluffy brush. I love the fake lashes look using mascara. Have been using Voluminous for a long time-the best, started trying others and this one has more volume, you can build the look faster, long lasting. Have tried others in the volume building category, other than Voluminous, this is the best I have tried so far. The only reason I started looking was because I have found Voluminous to be a little dry lately.     • Best waterproof mascara!
This is the best waterproof mascara I have used. I go to locations for work that do not have ac and my makeup melts off but this mascara does not budge. I also use serums all over my eyes and it doesn’t affect the mascara at all. It also makes my lashes look longer and fuller.

Love the packaging and the fact that this is waterproof. This product works fine but I have yet to find one that impresses like my usual brand. The cost was great on this mascara so I am not unhappy.

I have used this mascara forever. I am easily moved to tears, (includes laughing so hard I cry!) and with this mascara I don't worry about having it run down my face. I've tried more expensive mascaras, but there wasn't anything about them that made me want to give up the L'Oréal.

    • What a disappointing mess of a product!
I’m 55 years old, and as I’ve aged my lashes have gotten more sparse, so I’ll get that out of the way right up front. But based on photos and YouTube reviews I had seen of this mascara, I was expecting some sort of miracle, as people with short, thin lashes seem to love it. I have been a die-hard user of Lancôme mascaras since I was in high school, and every time I try another brand, I’m left disappointed; this was no exception. L’Oreal may own Lancôme, but the quality difference between the brands is vast. Within an hour after applying this product, I had smudges and flakes. Worse yet, my lashes looked so clumpy, probably because it took four coats of mascara before I could see any difference in the volume or length of my lashes. Putting it on my lower lashes was a non-starter, because it just ended up everywhere under my eyes. Perhaps this is a problem with the brush, or perhaps it’s just a cheap formula. In any case, because it smudged and flaked, despite the claims in the description, Amazon refunded my money, and this is going in the garbage. ... show more

    • Too hard to remove, even with a waterproof remover.
It looks ok but, I don't like the fat wand with short bristles- that style tends to smear onto my skin because the bristles are so short that for the lashes to get between the bristles the wand ends up touching the skin. I can't tell if this is a plastic wand with plastic bristles (Like Cover Girl Lash Blast that gives me the same problem). I prefer a traditional brush wand like Voluminous has. Next, its impossible to remove, even with the blue top Garnier dual phase Micellar Water that is superb at removing everything. This might require the old fashioned Andrea Eye Qs which were little round pads soaked in mineral oil. Then you'd have blurry vision for about 10 minutes after. Its too hard to remove. Too much scrubbing of the delicate eye skin and a couple lashes fall out because of the rubbing. Usually I'm able to remove eye makeup by holding the cotton round with the garnier on my eye for a few moments and then gently sweeping it off. I won't rebuy. ... show more
