It's not overly thick or warm. I wear it while biking when it's cold and it's enough to break the wind and let my breath heat my face without producing condensation. There's also plenty of material, so it doesn't feel too stretched or tight and it holds in place well.

I bought this for a hike and I think it fits great and looks just like it’s advertised, not too tight on my face, stretches as needed, and with adequate breathability. It didn’t really do anything special for keeping my face warm, but that is to be expected with how lightweight the item is.
