I give it 4 stars because it is a tight fit on my 2017 F250 with 8' bed. First try in the driveway and overall I like it. Setting it up and taking it down was fairly easy even for the first time, though next time I would insert the poles before adjusting all straps to align the tent. Maybe I am wrong but inserting the poles with what I thought was a good strap adjustment felt real hard, plus I had to loosen most straps and readjust again to get it centered. So I am hoping that leaving the straps mostly loose and only slip the edges over the bed and tailgate could make inserting the poles easier and make alignment a one step process? Some of the seams at the tense spots do not look as if they like it and could have benefitted from some reinforcement fabric. Especially at the front corners and at the rear taillight it seems like the fabric, especially the seams are under a lot of stress. So I can definitely see where all the negative reviews about rips and tears are coming from. I can not confirm the complaints I've read about straps and hooks as all are long enough and hooks fit nice on all metal edges. It's good material and the thick plastic hooks seem to hold plenty tension, much more than I would trust the tent fabric will hold. ... show more

This was very easy to set up. Our first time was about 11 pm at our campsite and we still managed get it installed correctly. Zippers worked great and there was lots of room to move around. Great product.

Turns my 8 foot truck bed into a camping tent. Awesome setup. Like the feature of no built in floor so I can put this on over my folded up tonneau cover which makes a “shelf” or a bunk for a child. Zippers leak, tent is not wide enough to cover F350 bed and still be zipped. I have to loosen every strap, then push up on the poles to zip and unzip the tent.

I just received it this week and set it up today in my driveway - haven't actually camped yet but I know it's gonna be good. Took me about 20 minutes to set up but it will be faster next time. Found out it is very important to get the straps that connect to the rear tent pole loops set correctly. This will ensure that the door is straight and easy to zip and unzip. Those straps keep the rear pole ends on top of the the bed rails at the end of the truck. You might notice for the pictures that the straps are not real tight and a couple are not connected at all. They needed to be loose to get those two rear straps noted about connected and tight first. I am planning a long 4,000 mile trip in the fall. I am going to put a bed in the bed of the truck with some storage underneath. I am going to practice but I think I can take the poles out of the tent and lower it on to the my sleeping bed and roll out my tonneau cover (the tent fits fine over the rolled up tonneau) while driving. When I get to my campsite I will roll up the tonneau and set the tent up. Can't wait for my trip! ... show more

Took it on a 4 day camping trip. First night, entrance zipper (the most important one) broke. Came right off the track and I was unable to get it back on. Really cheap zipper for $200 tent. I would never recommend this to anyone. Ruined my trip and I had to share a friends tent. Unreliable and I would never take it anywhere I had to depend on it. Best of all I ordered it early to make sure it fit which caused me to miss the return window, so now I can’t return it and am stuck with this tent that can’t close. Worse experience ever! Worst Amazon experience to date. A shame given that I have never had a problem with their service. We’ll see if Amazon reaches out to let me return. Will be following up. ... show more
